I’ve heard people talk about this place but this was my first visit. Tavern atmosphere. Wings, burgers and oysters are the staples of the menu but they have appetizers, salads and other sandwiches, too. Waiters were courteous and friendly. I had the boneless wings. Very good. The only thing keeping me from giving four stars is the wait time for food. They were not very busy and we still waited 30 – 40 minutes for a not very complex order. I’ve heard from some other people that the service time has been very slow for the last year or so.

Chicken wings were just ok. Ordered the garlic Parmesan and creamy sriracha flavor. The garlic Parmesan didn’t really taste like garlic and the creamy sriracha didn’t really taste like sriracha — it was more sweet. Also ordered the oysters. Overall, place isn’t too bad as I’ve had better chicken wings and oysters.

I have always enjoyed Jefferson wings and fried pickles! Always perfect and just. I do not know what people expect from a wing sports bar but it is what it is. They are the only place in Oxford with true hot wings. It is clean, great service and maybe slow but would you rather have slimy undercooked wings fast or properly cooked fresh wings? I eat here every other week. They are slow but the food is always excellent.

Always decent and fast. I have had lengthy waits before. Wings are great. Got the infamous dollar bills hanging all over the place.

First visit and the atmosphere was good but not very satisfied with food. I had the hamburger which was very disappointing and the meat not seasoned. The onion on burger was one ring, not even a whole slice. My husband had the catfish basket and said the fish was watery and could have been cooked longer. We did have the fried mushrooms which were very good. We left very unsatisfied and disappointed.

Great food and great service today. 4 of us ordered meals and we’re all changing it as we ordered and when it arrived it was all correct. The wings were pretty good the mac and cheese bites were out of this world and the Jefferson burger was unreal. Our waitress was good and very friendly.

We sat ourselves and were greeted in about 3 minutes.
Our drinks arrived pretty quickly once

The fried mushrooms were hot and very yummy.
We ordered bone-​in wings. They were good. You get Chips, celery, and Ranch as side items with the wings.
Overall the food was good. The service was just ok. At first, the waitress was friendly and attentive. Once our wings arrived, we didn’t see her too much.
Shortly after the wings, she laid out ticket on the table. That was a clear sign to is that we aren’t welcome to order anymore food. We eventually got tired of waiting for her to return and get payment. I walked to the bar area, which was empty, and waited for a staff member to come out of the kitchen area to ask if I could pay and leave.

Great wings, Turbo WILL make you sweat! Much cleaner than the Jacksonville location, but they kept the tradition of thumb tacking NASTY dollar bills all over the walls. I cant believe the health department doesn’t have an issue with this practice. Minus one star for that.
