Sky Adventures

A friend and I each purchased a reduced price flight coupon through social media, and decided that we would wait until autumn to fly. Our original flight was scheduled for October 18^th, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Luckily Dennis was able to book us for the very next Sunday evening.
And Mother Nature gave us some fantastic flying weather. Our pilot was Dave, and we shared the basket with a young married couple from the metro area. We were up and away quickly, gently soaring over beautiful farms, lakes and horse country. The fall colors were magnificent — it was a good thing that our original flight was postposed.
Sky Adventures makes it very easy to enjoy your flight. Everyone travels with their pilot to the launch site, where the balloons are quickly setup, passengers safely loaded and then you lift off to enjoy the peace of just floating along gently. Our landing was easy, and in a perfect location to pack up and load the envelope and basket.
The pilot made sure to stop and thank the landowners for the use of their property, and then we all headed back into Oxford for some celebratory bubbly at Red Knapp’s. If you’re looking to fly, you’ll enjoy your experience with Sky Adventures.
