The Den

If you like alcohol as much as I do, you realize that it’s much cheaper to go to the store than go to the bars.
Enter The Den.
The Den is located along the main drag with its distinctive columns, so it is rather visible to all the drunk frat boys (I’m not a frat boy, thankfully). Once you go inside, you realize how little they have inside. If you’re a fan of girly drinks such as Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Smirnoff Ice, then you’ll be blown away by their wide selection of those drinks. However, if you are a fan of liquors and craft beers like I am, you probably won’t find what you are looking for. Their liquor selection is about what you’d find at CVS, while their beer selection is nothing special.
As a side note, I found the place to be extremely filthy. Dirty footprints and dust covered most of the floor. However, the guy who owns the place is really nice and helpful and will assist you if needed. If you want to go Uptown for party basics, you go here. I’d take my (alcoholic) talents elsewhere, though.
