My son played in this league for two years, and, well, I don’t want to be too harsh… I understand it’s essentially volunteer operated, but you get what you pay for. If you want competitive soccer, join a club team. I know AYSO is all about fun and such, but it isn’t fun playing in a poorly run league PROS – My son had fun some of the time… which I guess what it’s all about for him, but not for the families. CONS – Poorly run region. Schedules and game times were some times changed at the last minute, giving little notice to parents. The fields are poorly marked. It’s tough to be critical of volunteers, but where exactly does the money go? Having been involved in youth sports for 30 years, it doesn’t take that much to rent the school field. We will not be back to 304. Coaches were hard to come by, and good luck finding a good one.
