Terrible service. My husband and I live in the area and this was one of his favorite spots until tonight. First we sat and no one came by to take our order. Too busy socializing I guess. Then when he went to the bar he wasn’t even acknowledged although the bartender was there serving others and then looked our way and left to go do some other bullcrap like a pick a napkin off the floor or something. So we left and went to setebello instead. Served within 30 seconds of sitting.

Great staff and craft beer selection! It’s a fun atmosphere and if you don’t want anything on the menu, you can shop and bring any food, beer or wine in the bar!

A great place to grab a fresh pint of craft ale. In addition to the nice selection of about a dozen beers on draught, you can also choose any of the beers on offer in the refrigerator for retail sale to drink at the bar, and being inside a Whole Foods, it is a hell of a selection.
Great friendly service. Also, they have $ 10 daily specials on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Monday they have 10 wings and a beer, Thursdays is a burger and a beer and Fridays is Fish and Chips and a beer, all for $ 10.

Stopped by yesterday and will never be back. Our server was drinking on the job and clearly highly intoxicated. The bar area got brushed off but never cleaned. It was absolutely disgusting. Two stars because this is usually not the norm. Service was poor, the place was filthy and the staff were either drunk and/​or incompetent.

I regret not taking a photo! It’s located inside Whole Foods and since this is the closest Whole Foods, I visit at least once a week… but never ever stopped to actually eat there until today! I’m a fan! The service is very laid back chill. We (party of 3) arrived at 4 and by 6:30 still ordering beers. We had the beer and burger for $ 10. Well worth it. I personally ordered the buffalo chicken Quesadilla $ 10 and garlic fries $ 4. Never did I expect that the Quesadilla was a humongous Quesadilla good enough to split with someone else. And the garlic fries, the best ever I tried… and fries is my favorite american food. On top of the Quesadilla they made their very own pico de gallo. Inside the Quesadilla was bbq chicken, red peppers, green peppers & onion… all fresh ingrediants. By 6:30, people were lined up waiting for tables, that’s how you know the food is legit!!! Will go back!!!

Located right in the middle of amazing groceries this place definitely knows how to cater to people looking for an affordable quality meal well worth the fight for seating. The menu is kept simple with some all time favorites. How can you go wrong with cheese plates, truffle fries, daily specials, and a great selection of beers on tap? If you can’t find a beer you like grab one from the extensive beer selection just across the way and the bar staff will happily provide you with a chilled glass! I just so happened to pop in on Thursday where the burgers are accompanied by a beer of your choice for a mere $ 10. They had 4 different SD breweries on tap 4 beers each! I went with the coffee cream ale and the grapefruit sculpin and both were great. I also got the burger added avocado and bbq quesadilla which were both great portions and reasonably priced!

Great beer selection, decent food options, fun trivia nights. I just can’t get past the fact that some of the employees absolutely suck at their job. A few are very knowledgeable, others space out, don’t know beer styles, and can’t get orders right.

I expected so much more from this place being that it’s inside a Whole Foods.
I love Whole Foods’ deli, café, and salad bar so when I saw that they now had a gastropub I thought h*** yes!
I ordered the nachos as a starter but even when shared amongst 2 people it’s a lot of food so I ended up having it as entrée. My boyfriend ordered the Rincon burger medium rare. The burger was brought well done and it was really your ordinary diner burger. Nothing special. Same with the nachos. Great ingredients, quality food but overall taste wise it just ok. Nothing to really come back for; next time I’ll stick to ordering from the deli.
They do however carry Nitro Milk Stout which is amazing. I’d come here for the drinks and an app but nothing more.

Incredible selection of craft beers served up by a friendly and proud Whole Foods staff. We got lunch from the food bar and ate inside the Rincon café. I ordered a Nitro Milk Stout — I think from a brewery in Colorado. For whatever reason it tasted like one of the best beers I’ve ever had in my entire life.

Horrible service! The server walked by our table 3 times before acknowledging us to take our order. Another 10 minutes to deliver our beer about 3 ft. By the time our our food arrived our onion rings were over fried with no flavor. I ordered a burger, the bun was rock hard. I almost broke a tooth. We waited and waited for our bill as several employees walked by totally ignoring the fact we wanted to pay our bill. We had to ask several servers for our bill. I had mentioned to our server that the hamburger bun was rock hard, he even picked it up and gestured that it was. I assumed they would knock a couple bucks off because I clearly didn’t enjoy it, but no. My friends and I were so done, horrible service and gross food. I’d rather drive to the SB location, the food is always delicious and the service is amazing, go to SB you wont be disappointed!

My friends and I just found out about this place by accident while strolling around Whole Foods and it is a good find!
This small section inside Whole Foods is great (although not too great for alcoholics). It’s a well functioning bar with a good selection of foods and a variety of beers on tap to choose from. What my friends and I really like is the fact that you can eat and drink produce that you bought from the store at the bar.
Buy a six pack and pizza, then have a sticker labeled «paid» on them and bam! Have a good time at the bar with your friends. The staff could be better, but you wouldn’t care with having your money’s worth and getting tipsy.
TL;DR:
–buy six pack in the store.
–get anything you’d like to eat or drink from the store.
–tell cashier you’re drinking/​eating it at the bar.

This is a great place to get great food awesome beers, and hang out with friendly people. The great thing about the bar is you can pretty much get anything to eat in house, and you can also buy beer from the store and drink it at the bar. so if IPAs are not your thing don’t worry just take a stroll down the beer aisle or wine shelfs and pick something you like. Also the staff is extremely helpful and friendly cheers

Just for being a bar in a grocery store, Bar Rincon already gets 3 stars from me! As for the other 2 stars, the fact that I can buy something in the store, (alcoholic or not) and have it at the bar, after I’ve payed. All the people that work there are amazing, especially Susan and Joshua. Have you ever seen the nachos at Bar Rincon? They are gigantic! This concept is great, though a bit dangerous. I get tipsy then start shopping at Whole Foods, that’s when it turns into Whole Paycheck!

Love this place! Great people, beer and food. The airstream is frickin awesome, I want one in my backyard. Fun theme nights like trivia, $ 1 oysters, taco night. Battle of the breweries was a ton of fun, got to hang with people from Golden Road and Fig Mtn.

A bar in a market? Yes and my favorite place to grab a quick beer. They have great beers on tap that rotate and a happy hour for food where you basically get your beer free. The people are always chill and if you go solo at the bar, it’s impossible not to spark a conversation with one of them.

I really loved this place, great beer and food. Order the beer flight and the cheese platter you will not be disappointed or leave hungry. Then go do your shopping for the normal whole food experience. Can’t wait to go back.

A bar in a grocery store. Brilliant.
This is a fun store, but huge and so many choices. This is an actual refurbished Airstream trailer, or the better half of one, serving a nice variety of micro-​brews and pub fare. There are so many places to eat in the Collection, this gets overlooked because its surrounded by the industrial organic mega-​store. It was nice to take a break from my busy take with a cold one here.

Absolutely the best place in Oxnard to relax with a friend and have outstanding finger foods and select from there 200 beer selection! They have three big screen available to watch! Daily specials!
