BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

We asked to put baseball on the TV but us and someone else complained it wasn’t soccer when it was on all the other tv’s including the big screen. Thought it was very rude food was good.

Food is OK, and the beer selection makes up for the lackluster menu. But don’t order for curbside pickup. It seems that the menu for that is somewhat different than the regular menu, and the food I picked up was smaller portions, and the pizza was so burnt it was inedible. I’m retuning the pizza, to the manager. A good manager would never let food like what I got ever leave the restaurant.

Had a party of 16. It was a busy night other large groups. Wait was 40 min not bad with the groups there. But once in it was 3 hours from sit down to leaving. Drink orders took long to take and equally as long to get. Meal order very long to place and very long untill it got to the table. Then the checks. Let’s just say the food was good the service was super slow…

Came on a Sunday late morning, sat at the bar, service was excellent! Pizza was quick & perfectly thick but also crunchy. Two thumbs up for friendliness, cleanliness & tastiness!

BJs is one of my all time favorite restaurants to order from. 99.9% of the time, my husband and I order take out. No complaints there. Our order is always accurate, on time as promised through their app and delicious!
Since today is Father’s Day, my husband and I decided to go dine in and actually have lunch. There was a gentleman up front that told us there was a 20 min wait. No problem. We’ll wait. But what bothered me is when I stared seeing other walk ins (not reservations because I was near the desk to hear) that were also party’s of 2 being seated before us. 2 other party’s to be exact! They had plenty of seating so not sure what was this issue there.
When we were finally seated, we asked if we can have a booth since we had our 7 month old with us. The gentleman said no because they «didn’t have enough servers» so we settled into one of their smaller 2 person booths. Keep in mind we had our son, which we had asked for a high chair before even being seated and was not given, his diaper bag, toys and snacks to keep him entertained. We could NOT fit in this small space. 10 min later when our waiter finally did arrive we asked to be moved to a booth where we had previously seen was an area she was handling. With an attitude she exhales deeply like it was a bother to her and says «I can do it this time because there’s not that many people.» Ok.
We finally get seated, she gives us our menus and says she will be back. We already knew what we wanted, we get the same meals whether it’s take out or the rare times we dine in. We told her as soon as we sat that we were ready to order. She let us know she would be back. I kid you not 15 min passed and she did not return. I became irritated and told my husband it was time to leave. The gentleman that had previously seated us, looked at us and gave us what I believe was a rude look. Didn’t ask if there was a problem or anything.
Can’t say they were busy either. We were there at 10:30am
Guess we will stick to take out.

If I could give negative stars we would. Service was absolutely atrocious. Took an hour to get our food.
When we complained to manager she didn’t seem concerned.
Avoid this restaurant!

Ended up going in person to speak to Lisa with my boyfriend since it was on his card and the outcome was better. She was sincerely apologetic. Our goal when we came in today was to address the fact that it was not okay for her employees to do this. That we want to feel safe to hand our credit card. She said that the server was suppose to let us know about the incident and that she will inform/​coach her employees about this incident. I’m just glad that we were able to express our concern.

Went in today wanting something different than my usual, so I happened to ask one of the servers I saw delivering food. I asked what he recommended for something quick but tasty. He offered a few items and I picked the Chicken Wings and damn where they good. Great choice Drake, (I think that was his name.) Thanks for the help and professionalism.
Be back this week for them again.

Where’s the beef? Slow service for brunch. Bloody Mary not good. Screaming kids. What is this Chucky Cheese. Cold food, don’t do brunch.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
1) the didn’t bring appetizer until dinner was serviced
2) we waited forever and the food was wrong (waiter trained to explain it was right)
3) we repeat order drink from bar and it was wrong
4) Then no waiter to bring water
5) then we expressed our frustration with the waiter and he smiled and said sorry (shrugged his shoulder) like he doesn’t care
6) I’m ready to leave and never come back– EVER AGAIN
Please train this waiters

We have come here about five times. Service has been great. They have a good selection of craft beers. The pizza is good but not the best. There is plenty of tv screens to catch a sport game and enjoy some food and drinks.

Sat in the bar area in the low booths, server didn’t greet us for 7 minutes. The drinks took about 10 minutes to arrive, not just drinks from the bar.
The fries were cold and the slider buns were soggy. When we ordered the pizza we asked for ranch. Had to ask for ranch when the pizza arrived, as well as Parmesan and red peppers. The Parmesan and ranch came but the server couldn’t find the peppers.
I ordered a margarita after having to ask twice about their well tequila without an answer and the margarita came well after we were finished and after I had cancelled the order because I was tired of waiting for it.
The food is okay, the pizza is the best thing on the menu, but the service is horrible time after time.

PROS: The Parma Garlic Chicken Wings were delicious…
The half rack of baby back ribs were pretty good, along with a side order of asparagus…
CONS: Their Clam Chowder was too salty… I think I have a stone now from all that salt. just
kidding…not really…
Oh yes, they have a rewards program. I totally recommend signing up if you’re a regular to get perks.

Last night we came for a night-​cap and sat at the bar. The restaurant and parking lot wasn’t overpacked (thank god) and the service was great!
Wonderful service from the bartender. She remembered my friends by what they ordered a few months ago — WOW! That shows not only great customer service, but attention to detail. But my friends are pretty memorable too :)
Our bartender had a heavy pour (YASSS) and got our Pizookies out immediately. We left with happy and full bellies. Thanks BJ’s!

First off… GET THE NEW SIRACHA BACON MAC N CHEESE!!! Oh… my God!!! It’s amazing and heaven in your mouth.
Now that that’s out of the way. BJs is always a safe place to eat! You’ll never have to worry about the quality of the food, the service is always good and its always clean. We love BJs and don’t plan on ending our regularity any time soon. Always a local favorite and great dinner choice.
Great for the big game, or if it’s the middle of the day and you need a lunch time brewski! Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the house IPA

I have looked past the many mistakes they have made on our curb side pickup orders and continue to eat here because the food is great but today has made this the last time I eat at this resturant. As I was about to bite into my chicken pesto sandwich I noticed something strange… a piece of plastic I took it out and it was about an inch long, I decided to tear the sanwich apart and upon further inspection I noticed the chicken was still pink and slimy and not cooked well (I was wondering why it was a little chewy)…I got disgusted at the fact that the chicken wasn’t cooked well… not even an hour after eating this crap my stomach started grumbling and feeling strange
Never again !!!

We have been here a couple of time now this time we stopped in for lunch this day and it was pretty crowded but we got seated right away. we had our grandson with us got him the Chicken Tenders and fries

Drizzled with Hot and Spicy Buffalo and ranch. with extra sauce and ranch for dipping. spicy!
My Lovely bride got the
Mahi-​Mahi /​Shrimp Tacos with fried mahi-​mahi and broiled shrimp and with chipotle mayonnaise and tossed in Santa Fe dressing, Napa cabbage, carrots, red onions and cilantro. With avocado cream sauce, fire-​roasted tomato salsa and tortilla chips. it was devoured always a good sign.
I got the California Chicken Club its Layered with Applewood smoked bacon, avocado, melted swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and roasted garlic mayonnaise on grilled sourdough bread. oh yea baby!
We got a couple beers as well, my go to brew here is the Jeremiah Red its an Irish-​style strong ale is brewed with a secret blend of five imported specialty malts (so I’m told) its not too hoppy in order to emphasize the complex malt flavor and fruity aroma. i cant believe the waitress has all this memorized lol
Good food stop for all.
Oh, I stole a Chicken Tender from the kid too, not too bad nice and moist.

This is the reason why we have not been back here for months, and it hasn’t changed!!!
Here goes:
Got seated right away. Good.
Forgotten for a good 15 minutes before someone came and said hello and took our drink orders. Bad. Took back all the 5 stars I had given.
Drinks came right away. Good. Gave back 1 star.
Server took orders. Hamburger and fries with an order of spaghetti and meatballs to go. Good. Gave back the 2^nd star.
17 mins later, server came back with ketchup and mustard. No food. Bad. Deducted 4 stars because I can’t deal with my daughter being hangry. Now they owe me 3 stars.
5 more mins and still waiting with the ketchup and mustard. And the place is practically empty!!!
12 more mins … Flagged down a server and asked for our food. That person came back and said our food was coming. Grrrr.
Food came a minute later. I asked my server to give me the bill and the to go order before she left us.
My daughter finished her burger and fries within 2 mins. Where are my to go food and bill? I can’t be sitting here all day!!!

Still waiting.
Now I am mad. And I am never mad.
Minus 3 stars.

OMG. This is why I don’t ever go here. What was I thinking!!!

This is the second time our office has booked BJ’s for Christmas Party, and I have to give props to the wait staff for being able to handle a group of 25 inebriated women (save me, who was still nursing a hangover from the festivities the night before, so loud noises were not my friend) and one male co-​worker who gives clowns a bad name with his rude behavior.
The wait time for our meals was a bit long, and while I realize a group of that size was challenging, some of the ladies ordered upon entering the restaurant, because they had to leave early, and the meals did not come out until almost an hour later, and one persons meal never came out so they had to reenter the order, and someone had to take it home for her and bring it to her today.
As for the rest of us that stayed, there were many positive comments on the meals, one person ordered the Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes and corn, she said it was so moist and the coating on the chicken was cooked to perfection.
Another person got the BBQ Pizza, she said she gets it all the time and that everyone should order it.
I saw an awesome Club Sandwich that made me wish I’d picked that over my order.
Leading to my order:
I chose the BBQ Brisket Burger, which consisted of Patty topped with smoked brisket pieces, Applewood smoked bacon, shredded jack and cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, red onions and mayonnaise.
I asked for no Mayo, BBQ sauce and Mayo just did not sound right in this girls eyes. Burger Wise, I was truly disappointed in this burger, the meat was dry, the bun was dry, the cheese was not melted, and there was little to no BBQ sauce on the burger… the positive the wedge fries were good, and so was the Strawberry Margarita I had.
The positives of the party: The cocktails were awesome, the appetizers were good, the staff were always polite, helpful, and really tried to keep things straight, they always brought us what we needed and tried to correct the mistakes they made.
I’ve always liked BJ’s, just because I didn’t enjoy one burger, it won’t stop me from going back and to be honest if you need to entertain a large party of people, this is the place to go.
