This place does not deserve a single star. Pharmacy is run by dishonest and moronic people. There are so many good pharmacies out there, so avoid this one at all costs. Walgreen’s across the street is much better!

I’ve been coming here for years for medication. They used to be great but the service is now terrible. I am a caregiver for my grandma. She recently switched doctors & her new doctor forgot to fill out the paper work for her new medication. When I called cvs they told me they would just fax the paper to the dr. When I went in the next day they were rude & said there’s nothing I can do. The next day they tell me they will bill me when the medicine is free through insurance. I call the next day for an update & they tell me my grandma who is disabled to go in & fill out paper work. She can’t even see! Then they hung up on me twice & put me on hold for 35 minutes!!! Then the tell me the medication has been there for days & no one has claimed it? Ugh terrible service. I don’t usually complain because I understand the workplace gets complicated sometimes but this was completely unprofessional. & to add to it, they gave me complete attitude & interrupted me when I was talking to them. I am now switching to rite aid. They should clean up their act before they go out of buisness.

Two words: customer service. Oh my goodness, where are the workers?! Why is there only one cashier?! Why am I asking you?! I realize that sometimes when a schedule is made they mistakenly have only a couple of workers for busy times, but is this a scheduling mistake made every day? Because there’s never enough workers here! I constantly come to get pictures printed(convenience factor folks, it’s closer than most) and every time, there is never a guy at the kiosk! I stood there for like 10 minutes waiting, and not knowing what to do because the cashier was equally as busy!(At least 5 customers in her line, plus one of the computers was busted; talk about bad day) I browse around and finally find some guy doing stocking, who then proceeds to tell me «hmm… The photo tech should be here! But go to the cashier so she can help you out.» Well buddy, figures your tech isn’t here(I saw him coming in with lunch in hand as I was leaving) and your cashier is in doo doo up in the front with a huge line! Regardless, I needed my pictures, so I got in line. The stocker probably felt bad because after a few minutes he came back and helped me out. You see, you could have helped me out and had me out in 2 minutes tops, guy, the pictures were already nice and printed for you!(which is why it gets a two, at least he had a change of heart.) IF you don’t mind the wait, then go ahead, and make your way to this Walgreens and do your thing. IF you don’t like standing and waiting for a worker to come and save you, then seriously, look elsewhere.

I don’t completely understand the previous reviews on why this place was given the bottom of the barrel star ratings. Yes, it’s true this store isn’t in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. But you can’t judge a book by its cover or should I say can’t judge a store by its location. It is in the heart if Oxnard, therefore is busy at certain times of the day. Therefore it’s good to come to the store on their«slower hours.» I am a patron to this facility primarily for their pharmacy. My ins covers my meds at this location at no cost. If that means coming to a facility that is located in a not so good location, that may be slower than other pharmacies then so be it. You get what you pay for. If you don’t like, get a better insurance that provides better pharmacy locations. I was recently here for a passport picture. The last who helped me allowed me to take multiple pictures until I was happy. Personally, that’s great customer service. She walked me through the process and was very friendly throughout. I will refer my friends and family here should they ever need a passport picture.

HORRIABLE place. Smells funny. There is never anyone working for such a busy store. I rather drive to another place then to ever step foot in there. They should just shut this place down. Start over new building new employees EVERYTHING. Worst customer service EVER.

CVS sends junk mail advertising and will not stop when I unsubscribe. That sucks. I will not buy from them.

This is such a danger zone when it comes to shopping in this plaza because it’s really sketchy(in either day or night). Surprisingly, I’d feel more comfortable going across the street to Walgreens but since my sister works for CVS pharmacy, the deals are with CVS. I’ve only came here for the pharmacy all the way in the back and it’s never quick and easy. It’s more of the opposite: slow and complicated :( There’s usually a good number of pharm techs in the pharmacy department but it takes forever to get the prescription dropped off or picked up. Also, this morning, their computer system failed where they have been 6 hours behind on filling prescriptions and whatnot. I guess accidents happen but damn, it’s almost like a hospital that underwent a blackout for 6 hours :(They really need to upgrade their computer systems so that doesn’t happen again for the customers and for themselves.
