I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday so he can ejaculate on all of their drums. We took a free tour, which only happens once a week I believe, so it’s crucial that you reserve your spot. Not surprisingly, I was the only girl on the tour. It started pretty much on time. I don’t have much of an interest in drums but the tour was pretty entertaining. You can take pictures most of the time, except in the painting(?) room where artists paint custom designs on drums for their famous drummer clients. The tour guide was knowledgeable, and made it very clear that every single person working there was passionate about the products and satisfying their customers. I recommend the tour to anyone who likes DW or drums in general. Even if you’re not into drums, it’s a neat experience to see just how these expensive instruments are produced.

One of the newer great American drum companies. I own a couple of their snare drums(a 2006 Craviotoo and a collectors chrome on brass). Their drums are decent, but the pricing is just to the right of outrageous. List pricing on snare drums @1800 bucks? Most working drummers cannot afford to buy their drums. I just wish you could go and order up drums in the sizes and finishes you want, without the wait and horrendous pricing. Unfortunately, most other drum companies are doing the same thing.
