This is not even a mall and I rather shop here than the Pacific View Mall in Ventura, They have a Nordstrom’s Rack, Dicks Sporting Goods, Bed Bath And Beyond, TJ Max, Tilllys and now a Kirkland store being built. the esplanade also has so many places to eat from LL Hawaiian bar b q to BJs Brewery, you cannot go wrong when shopping here!!! And most of all this is my in n out burger destination :)

We wanted to stop and check this mall out before we headed home. It was ok. I’ve been to better. But I did get to eat Fuddrukers, which was across the parking lot. Will I return? Not sure. Sorry for the short review but not much to say

So I’ve been shopping at the Esplanade since it was an indoor mall with a movie theater. We called it the«sticky» theater because the floor was covered with year’s worth of spills that made every step a small struggle. Now an outdoor mall with plenty of parking the Esplanade has everything you need… Party City, World Market, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, a Walmart grocery store, In and Out, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, BJ’s, Home Depot, Staples, LA Fitness and more. I mean it would be really hard to think of something you needed that you couldn’t find at the Esplanade. It’s also conveniently located off the freeway and just a hop and skip away from The Collection, which offers a ton of other great shopping and dining options. Whether you need a haircut or eyebrow threading, are craving a smoothie or coffee, this place has you covered. Great for families who don’t all like to eat at the same place. You can literally order Chipotle, Subway or Pick Up Stix all from the same parking spot without any hassle. Drop in and check it out.

Wanted something to eat after watching a movie. There was no parking, there hundreds of teenagers with rice burners congregated in the Home Depot parking lot. They were openly drinking and smoking weed. In what world is that acceptable? People these days, need the stupid beat out of them.

Never again! Towed my car today. I take the bus daily and parked by the bus stop. No way to know they were going to resurface the parking lot. I used to shop at the shoe store and get may nails done and I am sure Walmart had Home Depot won’t miss my business

I personally remember(and miss) the heyday of the«old» Esplanade, say, 20 – 25 years ago… not so much it’s decline into ruin. As it sits now, your typical, suburban, big box anchored strip mall. The best In N Out in Ventura County, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, BJ’s and Borders are the only real reasons I venture here, but my ex’s family claims that the Rack is tough to beat. I’ll take their word for it… and the Cost Plus is usually pretty clean and uncrowded. A word of advice — as another reviewer alluded to the traffic flow and parking in this shopping center are horrendous. I would definitely avoid the Home Depot side on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon if at all possible.

This is a great shopping center. One stop shopping! For someone like me who is new to the area it was a great find. HOWEVER, people do not know how to drive through this parking lot. I swear it took 15 minutes just to make a left to leave by the Home Depot(since entering traffic doesn’t stop). Next time I will drive closer to the stores and exit in a quieter area.

Talk about 180! This used to be the«other» ghetto mall in Oxnard. They completely tore down the old Esplande and rebuilt it to this open air, shopping center. There’s a Circuit City, BJ’s Brewery, Tilly’s, Home Depot, Target(across the street from this center), In-N-Out. On a beautiful sunny day, this is a good place to go around eating and shopping. Parking does get packed, but what happening place doesn’t? They used to have a Cupid’s here, but it wasn’t meant to last. *sniff
