Farhad Daftary,DMD

I was sent to Mr Daftary to examine whether or not my molar could be saved with a RCT. The X-​Ray looked promising so we attempted the procedure. Unfortunately, my tooth had a crack below the gum line and needs extracted.
The good of this all is I’m not the most comfortable guy in the chair. I can give excuses as to why but I’ll spare you those details. Right off the bat, I liked this guy. His bed side manner is to be commended. We talked about everything from my pending retirement to taking art classes. Plus he gave me information I did not have that indicates I grind my teeth at night.
The girls up front were fantastic working with my insurance company on what is and what was not covered, and what my out of pocket expense would have been with a successful RCT
As I continue my treatments I may need another RCT and I’ll schedule with this office without question
PS– I’ll save my 5-​star rating for my last visit. :-)

I went into the office at 3:30 on a friday for a consult. and left at 6:00 with the root canal done & painless. The entire staff from the receptionist to the assistant, the x-​ray tech. and the good Doctor Daftary were all kind and professional. I was a bit nervous, Dr. Daftary noticed I was uncomfortable and asked me «Have you ever had a root canal»? I told him «This is my first» to which he replied «Me too», I laughed and was instantly put at ease. They were quick and through. I definitely would recomened these folks.

The staff are nice and friendly, the doctor himself is definitely not a friendly chatty type person but I could tell he knew what he was doing. I had my root canal done here, they put me under so I slept right through all that work. Ive heard friends tell me how they stayed away for theirs. Although they didn’t feel any pain but they could definitely feel the pressure and see everything that was going on. Sounds terrifying! If you can afford it, I would suggest just being put under. They didn’t get too detailed on the procedure or after care. However aftercare wasn’t too bad, no solid food for a few days, and sleep with a paper towel over yer pillow.
