Recently my company celebrated its 4^th anniversary, and the co– owner Beth Kilgore gladly took in our order and had it ready in less than a week. We ordered 5 dozen chocolates on a stick w/​the #4 on them.

I placed an order for oreo party favors for a birthday luncheon. When one week went
by I wrote to inquire about the delivery status. The owner, Beth Kilgore, told me in
order to get the delivery on time I would need to pay additionally. When I questioned
why after one week (delivery promised within 5 days) that was the case and suggested under these circumstances the company should pick up the additional delivery fee she AGREED. I thanked her and explained I would count on the delivery arriving anytime friday night for the Saturday luncheon… but that I could not be left in the lurch.
Fast forward, Saturday arrives– NO DELIVERY along with NO EMAIL EVEN BOTHERING TO TELL ME SHE DIDN’T SHIP IT. This left me scrambling last minute
for fill-​ins. For a company that says on the website they have been in business over
a decade this is totally inexcusable. And for a small business OWNER to operate
this way is untruthful and just wrong. Glitches happen but– this owner agreed
to fulfill an order, when it was late and she was queried she said it would come
and then for the second time she did not fill the order. LOUSY customer service
and even more lousy company culture.
