I was really sad to hear that Jodi left, she does hair for my whole family and has always done a great job. Then I found her on Facebook and she now works at The Hair Affair in Camarillo! I’m definitely going to follow her she does great work!

First and foremost, ive never been the one to get my hair cuts at any hair salons. One in my opinion, woman cant fade or cut hair as sharp as an experienced barber. I only get cut up by male barber’s and ive been up and down the nation from barber shops in Jersey, Virginia, Washington D.C. and of course my home town Ventura County. With that being said i have been proven wrong about woman hair stylist. I came in on short notice in need of just a simple low fade cause i had some where important to be and i needed to look some what decent. I sat down and had my hair done by Sylvia who is the manager there. I was amazed that she could do a great mid fade… right to the grain. Her technique is perfect she knows what what shes doing and asks all the right questions in order to give you the perfect cut. she’s now one of my favorites and i have been coming to her ever since then… she’s a well educated and experienced stylist with nice barber skills that you could only learn from an experienced barber. As long as she is there, this place is the best Supercuts in ventura county.

Sad to see Mario no longer works here at Supercuts however I found out where he works. Kriza salon in the collections next to larsens. He starts there may 18th. Check him out!

I go and get my haircut by Mario, but they told me he no longer works there and I was bummed so I let one of the other stylists cut my hair and she jacked me up! I asked for a tight skin fade and and I left with one lop sided head. I can’t remember the name of the last but she had like a French accent, such horrible service as well. I’m Hoping to find Mario he was always the best! Will not be going to this Supercuts again!

I have to say I am so glad that Yvette is back, she know how to cut my hair and I don’t need to explain how I want my hair cut. She always nice and has jokes and you can’t forget that smile. If your looking for a clean cut, definitely go see Yvette.

So glad Yvette is back. She has been cutting my hair for about 4 years now. She is always smiling and upbeat. She is the only one I like to let cut my hair, she does such a professional job. Don’t even have to tell her how I want it cut, she just knows. Yvette makes sure it is perfect before you leave her chair. If you want the best haircut go see Yvette, she is great… The salon is always nice and clean.

I read good reviews and decided to try it out. I got a haircut by Mario. I keep my hair short and he did good work except for the fade. Once I got home my wife said she could see the lines. Sure enough there where lines in the fade. I can only rate the person that attended me and the haircut I got. I say 3 of 5. Next time I’ll try someone else, maybe a bit more experience. Mario did have excellent customer service.

I’ve come here twice now for a haircut. And each time is great! I get my hair cut by Mario. He does a GREAT job and I’d highly recommend him. Every one there is very nice, helpful and professional. The wait time isn’t bad at all if you call ahead. I made the mistake of not doing so my second time and that was a mistake on my part. The place is clean and I have no complaints.

Another fantastic haircut done by the one and only Mario! Every time I come in here, I go straight to the sign in sheet to write his name down, even if it means waiting for an hour. It’s not just the haircut, it’s the personal attention. He just leaves it all on the table and it’s very refreshing! Keep it up and I will keep coming back… what a friendly place!

Based on reading the reviews here I went to see LeAnn to fix a very botched haircut from a local shop(I can’t bring myself to call it a hair salon). She took someone else’s disaster & made it into exactly what I had wanted in the first place. She evened up the A Line, gave me fuller bangs & a great style. I am very pleased with the final result.

I love this Supercuts. The shopping center is nice. It’s always neat and tidy inside the store. My husband, my brother, and me are among many of my friends who love getting cut by Maria. She is wonderful. So nice and does such a good job every time.

Don’t waste your time. I’ve been waiting for 45 mins. One person was ahead of me. 3 people walked in after me. Then one the hair stylist was done a guy that walked in last asked if he could get his hair cut really quick. She let him go before everyone that was waiting. I said something and she said sorry, nothing I can do. Yes you can! You just let anyone go, making everyone else sitting down wasting their time! Use someone local, not a big place like supercuts. Corporate doesn’t care.

I’ve always gone to different super cuts in the area and have always been satisfied with my visits. Today was different. The stylist who cut my hair seemed nice at first, then I got into the chair(which was crooked or broken or something because when she spun me around in it I felt as though I was going to fall out of it!) and it all kinda went downhill from there. I won’t name drop, but I’ll say that she looked like a young girl, probably early twenties who probably just got out of the Paul Mitchell academy(I’m assuming cuz she had a PM apron on). When I told her and showed her a picture of what I wanted, she seriously questioned the cut. I tried to explain it, but I mean. i showed the picture to her! Hello, can’t you visualize it if I’ve already given you a visual?! Anyway, she held the water spray bottle right up to my head! And she moved about so lazily it made me even wonder if she knew what the hell she was doing. You know how stylists will go out of their way to make sure you’re happy with your cut? Like, they’ll give you the mirror and ask if you like it or you want any adjustments? Well, I asked her twice to go a little shorter and the 3rd time she handed me the mirror she was kinda rude about it and just handed me the mirror without asking if I was happy with the cut. She just gave off an annoyed vibe that made me not want to be there anymore. I’ve never been so unhappy with a hairstylist until today. I’ve been to many people to get haircuts(short, long, bangs, trims, and everything in between!) and today was the worst experience ever. I wish LeAnn cut my hair because based on all the other reviews, it seems like she’s good at what she does. She was there too, but working with a different customer.

LeAnn is amazing! I lived in Costa Rica and a stylist there burned my hair to the point of falling out. LeAnn saved me. She gave me a great cut and deep condition. When it was a bit more healthy, color and shine… My hair is healthy and growing. LeAnn studied at Paul Mitchell School(The very best) … I will not trust anyone else except LeAnn from now on. You will be ever so happy with the results. Oh yes, she is able to take appointments.

This place is a total hit or miss… previous to today I had an awesome experience with LeAnn. However, I walk in(place was empty BTW) and the«stylist» gives me a quick look and tells me to sit down. She’s in a hurry to get me outta there. Keep in mind the last time I was there, LeAnn was super chill, gave me options, and did an awesome job. However, this chick asks how long i was there, what number did i want, didn’t even bother taking my name, and when she asked what size clip I wanted on the sides I told her i wasn’t sure cuz the previous time she did the sides with sissors. she then tells me that they only use clips for the sides, which is total bullshit. She starts clipping the side… That’s when I tell her«you know what? I think I’ll come back another time» All of a sudden she’s polite. She asked if she could even out the other side(by my sideburns). Next time I will ask for a specific stylist rather than risk getting clipped by someone who should be in another profession.

Wham bam thank you ma’am. That is what my haircut was like. There is the smell of new paint and furniture in the air… must be a new Supercuts. This location just opened not too long ago right down the street from where I live so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly I would give it 3.5 stars but as we all know 3.5 rounds up to 4.(Actually after writing this review I realized it was at most a 3 star experience) Location(Building) — 5 stars… brand new, awesome place to put a Supercuts. Cost — 4 stars… I guess its now 16 bucks to get a hair cut.(Before tip) Customer Service — 2 stars Today I decided to give this new location a chance since I needed a haircut. First off there is a sign-in sheet when you come in… for some reason there were names on both sides and was kinda confusing. I waited a few minutes and my name was called by one of the two women working at the time. First off it was the shortest period of time I have EVER had a haircut in. It was like going through a drive-through at McDonalds. She did not ask me much, just how I wanted my hair cut and started in on it. She did not say one single solitary thing to me while cutting it, she seemed REALLY rushed. Like maybe she wanted to get to the next customer or wanted to go on her break. I am not huge on small talk during a hair cut but you can at least seem interested in the person who is paying you to cut their hair. Don’t get me wrong she did a good job… but I realized afterward she did not even show me the back of my head(like every single Supercuts does when they are done) and after she rang up my credit card and I put my tip on there she did not give me a receipt for my transaction. She just said«thank you have a nice day» and walked away. And I gave her a pretty good tip to top it off… I almost forgot… while I was waiting before my hair cut the woman who helped me was ringing up the customer before me. The guy was joking around with her and she actually told him about some coupon and actually brought out a flier from the drawer and cut him out a coupon and only charged him 13 bucks. I did not even think about this until after I was gone and done later on in the day. Why is the other guy someone you give a coupon to and not me? You know to be honest it was really more of a 3 star experience. Maybe even a 2.5 experience. The building and location are amazing but the customer service left tons to be desired. I might go back one more time to give them a fair chance but that’s a big maybe. I can just as easily use a clipper and shave my head, save 16 bucks and not have to put up with crappy customer service. :0)
