Tandy Leather

Kinda bummed that this store moved to Oxnard a while back but the move was good for them for space reasons. This is a big store! I’ve been with Tandy Leather Ventura since I moved to Ventura 5 years ago. I’ve watched a string of managers come and go for various reasons. I always get the story that Tandys regional management is a bit screwy too. The current Manager Brad is a good guy and he’s been willing to go outbid his way EVERYTIME he helps me. His knowledge of the leather and tools is constantly growing and if he doesn’t know something he’ll figure it out. I look at this Tandy and Brad as my business partners. They help me succeed at making leather work a easy career to work. If yer looking for skins and leather help I highly encourage you to to stop by this Tandy leather and chat brad or any of his staff up to allow them to help you handle your leather projects!

Brad and Moses rock! So informative and helpful every time I visit the store. They give great advice, classes etc. I highly recommend this store for all your leather craft needs. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could :)

My visit today was great. I just needed some grommets, and had trouble finding them, but when I asked, the staff was super helpful and took me right to them. Not only that, but I was expecting the price to be much higher after having looked up the same item on the Tandy official website.
That was a pleasant surprise since usually when I come here I’m bowled over by sticker shock at the register. Nice to have a visit that comes out low priced!

Update to my previous review… I’m changing my four star to a five because of Brad’s outstanding customer service. We’ve spent over an hour in the store on each visit, and each time, Brad has always been helpful and pleasant to work with. Thank you!
