I work out here 2 – 3 times a week in the 80mph cage and have no complaints, except when there are 50 screaming kids going apesh*t, ha! Keep up the good work… and I’ll keep paying ya

$ 20 for 30 minutes of batting caging. I remember going back there years ago. I’m back this time around. It looks better. Most of the balls pitched were on target. I came an hour before it closed so there wasn’t much wait if any for the different cages.

I go here often with my brother. who goes all the time! Its clean, the boy at the front is nice and is quick to fix any problems that the machines seem have… We go usually right after it opens and we can get a good 45 mins worth of hitting in before people start showing up and everybody feels awkward standing there waiting for you to finish…

Well, if there is one nice thing I can say about Who’s On First, it’s this — at least it’s cheaper than Bat-R-Up in Camarillo( ). I think it’s $ 25 for an hour as opposed to $ 40. Other than that, it doesn’t even compare. The softball cage was messed up and some of the balls hit the netting when they were pitched. So to fix it, the guy powered it down so pitches were shorter and we had to move up where it sloped downhill and that made it very tough to step and swing. The cages are smaller and they aren’t open so you can’t really see where your ball goes after you hit it. It’s also in a much darker and danker warehouse than Bat-R-Up and it doesn’t have the Simpson’s arcade game. What a disappointment. Oh well, it’s one of only two West Ventura County cages, so if you are in Oxnard or Ventura and don’t want to drive to Camarillo, Who’s On First will have to do.
