Chicken, pepperoni, bacon and pineapple. So good. Located in the so called hood, but I personally believe restaurants with that label work a little harder to rise above that stigma. I’ve had had worst food in a posh restaurant in Dc. U want some good pizza give them a try.

It’s the best in my neighborhood. Fairly clean. Quick service. Reasonable price. Edible food. Okay considering my other options and for an occasionally down with family in neighborhood.

The pizza was okay nothing to brag about the crust was very soggy really wasn’t too happy the toppings were good and fresh but other than that the crust was way too soft I would try to get in but next time I will tell them to cook it a little bit longer

Ledo Pizza has over the years been called one of the best if not the best pizza company in Washington DC and the surrounding areas. Ledo’s roots are local although they’ve now expanded to several states in the southeastern region of the country. Although I’ve tried their food before at other locations and have been disappointed, hunger hit me one afternoon while I was nearby and decided to give this place a shot. Now, mind you, I’m from upstate New York, the land of wings and pizza(amongst other types of greasy goodness) so I’m ready, willing and able to rip this place apart(via Unilocal of course) if they fall flat on their face. This location is in the East Over Shopping Center just down the street from the DC border and minutes from Virginia. It’s conveniently located off of the highway although I would not recommend tourists stop by or for locals to try their luck past sundown… unless they’re packing a heat filled surprise. The restaurant is small and relatively clean. The service is decent for patrons who are dining in. There is a flat screen tv in the viewing area, which is a nice touch, especially for lunch time guests who don’t know how to dine solo(me!). Prices are pretty decent. Food was a mixed bag. The good: I ordered a cheese pizza and it was actually pretty tasty. I like how they cut the slices into rectangles. The cheese is nice and gooey. The sauce is kinda weak with a muted tomato flavor but overall it was satisfying. I also ordered some fries which were nicely fried and seasoned. The bad: I ordered some bbq wings. BADBADMOVE. While they were plump, they were also overdone. The most egregious thing was that the bbq sauce(probably store bought) was haphazardly dumped on top of the wings as opposed to the wings being tossed in the sauce… like normal places. These wings are not BBQ, they’re BB-POO! It was so bad that it was offensive… I considered calling 911 but then again they’re probably used to this crap! All in all, my experience was average when I consider the«ok» pizza, good service, good price and subtract due to the wings. Could Ledo survive back home? If they catered to the soup kitchen, sure, but as a viable restaurant? Not so much…
