It’s The best in the area and no comparison to the other Larry’s barbecue restaurants in the area. This restaurant is clean and professional and run with military precision. They increase about their barbecue for hours at night before they open their doors and they keep the place impeccable and the service is top notch I can’t recommend them highly enough but they only thing that can make it better is asking them to bring you Barbecue sandwich on toasted garlic bread —

I should have listen to the precious reviews. Someone said the food was ok… I agree, ok at best. I had the chicken and ribs. Both were dry. Food reminds me of eating at a Sonny’s and we know that isn’t BBQ. I did give this place 3 stars, because my waitress was very friendly. If I was rating based on the food only, it’s a 1 ½.

Sides I could buy at Walmart in the freezer section as well the desserts offered. The catfish filets were good. The pork plate was only fair. And the service sucked.

I ordered my pork sandwich at 100pm. I paid for it and only after I paid did they say it’s gonna be a few we need you too pull around the front and wait. Which would be fine if my lunch break was more than, 30 min. And if the food was fresh. She brought me my food. I am not lying when I say my bread was hard as a rock and my fries are brown like they were cold and threw them back in the fryer and recorded them. Disapoointed. It’s about 10 min drive there and back 2 work. I won’t be eating there again. The service has really gone down from what it used to be. I would rate this 2 out of the stars. The lady was sweet but would not order again. It’s really gone downhill. Sadly disappointed.

Ozark is very limited on restaurants and Larry’s has been our go-to location for lunch while working in the area. The Bar-b-q is not good bar-b-q but it is still ok food.(that might only make sense to seasoned bar-b-q eaters) The service has always been ok with the occasional empty glass taking too long to be refilled. I will continue to eat there and enjoy the food but I believe if they ever had any real competition in the area, they would have to change it up some.

I left feeling unimpressed. Every staff member I encountered was unpleasant,(particularly the checkout girl who saw my military ID as I opened my wallet, said, «Oh, youre military?» and I said Yes is there a discount or something? and she kinda snorted and said no. RUDE) Food was particularly yucky– meat was fatty and sides were average at best. Will NOT be going back.

I don’t really know what’s happened to Larry’s the last few years. Its just been going down hill. Last time we went it took forever to get service and then the food was cold. I thought the ribs might even have been a day old. We won’t be back in the forseeable future.

I’m not the hugest BBQ fan in the world — so someone who is particular about their bbq might give a better or more specific review about this bbq as compared to others. But in general nothing was fresh, appetizing or original here. The place did, however, have AN atmosphere(a bbq joint… but at least it seemed like some thought was put into it) and a nice/efficient waitress. There was a buffet in the middle of the place(ew) and plenty of seating. There are 5 or 6 more restaurants from this chain in the area and I noticed that some are independently operated — I wouldn’t go back except for maybe a beer. But now that I think about it, I don’t think there was a bar.
