This place is right next to my house so I’m a regular here. IMO they have the best Chinese food in a three mile radius. I have tried about 13 others places and none have usurped Ho Ho gardens position as number one. My favorite dish is there shrimp and broccoli with white sauce. It is to die for. There shrimp teraiaki is also great. The only thing they need to improve is there fried rice. not much flavor. They also have shrimp dumplings which gives danny’s place on cross bay a run for there money.

Of all of the Chinese take out places in the neighborhood, I love this food. They have the best sweet and sour chicken that is always crispy, and their rice is pretty good too. Delivery is usually quick, and they have a customer system set up that makes the experience of ordering a lot smoother.

Always good Chinese good since I always order one thing when I’m craving Chinese after class and on my way home. The lady knows me well and she’s very kind. Good place to sit down and eat in peace while people watching.

Good tends to be okay at times and the food will leave you happy. Sometimes the staff tends to be deaf but you have to speak up when you order. Inside the restaurant is small I don’t really think it’s a nice place to sit down and eat get delivery. Also their fries are amazing. At times your food will be rushed.

Got the general tso and it was pretty good. Really good price. Saw a B sanitation score in the window but I know a business nearby where they say they order from there all the time. So I trusted it. Didn’t get sick so haha. I suppose I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a typical local chinese take-out place. Nothing special… Ambience is definitely not there. Don’t even think about going on a date here lol. but if you just want some chinese to go, then this might be your spot.

After ordering several times and trying different dishes they are always consistent with there food and im always left satisfied. Ho Ho Garden has become my favorite Chinese Takeout place to go.

I wish there were«hoes» at the Ho Ho Garden. This place is abysmal. This is a typical spot for wannabe ghetto trash. You want a good laugh; stop here in a weekend to see west-indian and guyanese teen agers act like the rappers they see on TV. I hear one of those dopes say, «Yo son, I’m going to get fried rice…,» — I laughed hysterically. Seriously, the food here is stellar in mediocrity.

I go here when I just get off the A train when it is late night and am in the mood for some greasy chinese here. The boneless spare rib tips are really good. I agree that the general fried rice is kind of weird that it is really brown. I also only really order the mixed vegatable soup. I feel for the price it is worth it. The egg rolls here are not that bad either. I hate the way they make the General Tso’s chicken.

We used to eat here before I checked the restaurant inspections. Their fried chicken was really good at one time too. Their house special fried rice and even regular fried rices used to have EGG and sprouts in it with green onion and peas… now you only get onion in your fried rice. And the rice is super brown and greasy, what’s up w/that? It seems like they refuse to change the oil there cuz the chicken is dark brown and dry now, when it used to be golden crisp, plump and yummy. I’m not ordering from there again, what’s the point if the other person behind the wok doesn’t give a who-ha about the person who worked for about 3 hours to earn that 5 minute meal.
