Sad news… after several generations and nearly 70 years in business, The Pasta Store is pulling up stakes and retiring to Florida. Gift baskets will still be available by mail but the «pasta wonderland» on 101^st Avenue is now just a happy memory, along with so much of the Italian community that used to call that neighborhood home.

I come here for the fresh Mozzarella — several batches a day are made here in the back and it is the best and freshest mozzarella you can lay your hands on — you know it’s fresh from the milk that oozes out when you cut into it. Perfect with just a little salt, or make yourself a nice sandwich with some fresh tomato slices and pesto.
Give a call first before you head over to make sure they haven’t sold out. Tons of interesting pastas too.
