Found this place when the St. Andrew’s state park campground was full and we wanted to extend our trip in PC. For $ 33 including tax, we got a tent site. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The campground is on a large lot next to the water park with lots of shady trees and vegetation. There are two pools and two playgrounds. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and state of all public areas(showers, bathrooms, pools, etc.). Very nice. Only complaint is about the noise level. You are very close to Front Beach Road so it gets noisy with scooters, motorcycles, and people playing loud music at night. I imagine when the water park is open it also gets noisy during the day. Tent sites are also a little close together for my liking, but I’m spoiled by lots of back country camping. This sure beat staying in a crummy hotel and I recommend it – just bring earplugs if you are tent camping!
