DO NOT WORK AT BAYSIDE FOOD GROUP — YOU WILL REGRET IT
Pros:
Only good things would be my lunch hour, end of day, weekends and holidays. But I was even asked to come in on weekends and holidays so some of those days were miserable too.
Cons:
If you want to be a part of a completely toxic and dysfunctional environment, then go and work at Bayside Food Group. When I was first hired by Mike the owner of Bayside Food Group he told me he was going to be getting health insurance for everybody immediately. One of his many deceptive lies I experienced throughout my employment. I never got that raise I was promised either. On a number of occasions, I and others were completely disrespected both verbally and through emails by Mike, his wife (Brenda) and mom (Sheryl). They both work there too. They continually speak to employees with a degrading tone and use condescending words. They expect everybody to work as if they are a partner in the company but do not know how to treat people with respect and have not learned in life that compliments can go a long ways in the moral of people who work for you. The structure of daily operations is completely disorganized and no one knows what they are supposed to do. If you want to lose your daily happiness and self respect and feel sick everyday then this is the perfect work environment for you. I don’t want anybody to go through what I did at Bayside Food Group.
Advice to Management:
Stop lying to your employees about benefits, raises, etc.
Go to employer school for how to treat people that work for you
