Great work out at a fun pace. I have been going 3x a week and can really see the results. Staff is knowledgable and up beat and will customize each work out to your level and needs. I appreciate that!

Early last year I had the bright idea of completing a Half Ironman triathlon after competing in sprint distance races for the previous couple of years. I thought, «I know how to swim, bike and run. 70.3 miles isn’t thaaaat much.» The race was in November. In August I ran a half marathon and realized I was not in the shape I needed to be in. I needed a new plan for training outside of my solo bike and runs. I tried Crossfit, but didn’t find the personalized plan I was looking for. 12 minutes of trying to lift as many as you can with no focus on form seemed like a recipe for disaster. I walked by the old Neighborhood space on Lighthouse and talked to Blaise about my goals. He assured me that lifting some weights would help me overall. I swore I would just stay until the day of the race, but one year in and I am not going anywhere any time soon. There is something for everyone here. Endurance program is a lot of cardio(row, ski, bike) with some low weight/high rep lifting. Strength is for those who want to lift heavy and get super swole. Performance is a lot of lifting with olympic lifts. I like the Endurance and our class can be filled with triathletes training for an Ironman next to a grandmother who wants to stay in shape to run around with the grandkids next to a former college athlete trying to stay on track from the good ol’ days. The best part is there is no competition in class. It is just you against your own numbers during the week. Then on Saturday we all get together for a full gym team workout. Oh, and it is all across from the beach! A nice view to catch your breath to. Spend the extra money and invest in your health. You probably spend just as much on Starbucks a month. Why not on getting in shape and hanging out with cool people like me?!
