Trader Joe’s

I prefer this trader joes more so than the one in Monterey. I feel like it’s a bit smaller and less packed. Parking is difficult at times but I usually go early in the mornings so I don’t have too much of a problem. I love shopping here due to the fact that they have so many vegan options! I am absolutely in love with the selection. Anything from ice cream to orange chicken-​less morsels to soy chorizo to even mayo and cream cheese! A vegans dream… Lol. I need to watch myself when I am shopping. I tend to go overboard! The staff is so friendly and really helpful. I was asked twice during my shopping if I needed help with anything. Cashier was super nice and funny! I love the vibe. Good vibes! Pleasant shopping experience. Very happy customer right here!

Great prices! Great customer service and efficiency. Shelves area always stocked and clean. I love coming here. Again with the prices, you can’t beat it. I love all the fresh cut flowers just as you walk in the door. And my daughter loves finding where they hid the raccoon.

Love this place, the people are polite and courteous. We live close and go here frequently.

This is a wonderful store. Employees lovely. Helpful and work so hard. My husband and I love the selection and great service time and time again

Amazing cashier! I recently took my elderly mom food shopping at this location and my mom was obviously having a difficult time with the pain in her legs so she went out to my car to wait while I paid for her groceries. Enid asked me about my mom and we had a lovely conversation about her caring for her parents before they passed on and how challenging it was to help as our family members get older. As I was loading my mom’s groceries, she handed me a piece of paper with her name and phone number and with a warm smile, said that she would be happy to help out anytime. Her kindness nearly took my breath away!

I love the place. It’s the grocery where I’m usually are getting most of my food. Organic and cheap. Only thing I don’t like os that they don’t have fresh meat section

This is the ‘PG’ Trader Joe’s and the review will aimed at comparing it to direct competition as a grocer as well as a comparative look at other TJ’s.
The store is a bit smaller, but they offer their own labeling so prices are better while selection is limited compared to direct competition. The staff is much more efficient and friendly — customer service is a brand trademark.
Compared to other TJ’s the selection is a little more limited here and stocks seems a little more prone to go out longer than the downtown or metropolitan locations. While this is somewhat a negative, the redeeming factor is that if you live in this neighborhood its the best value and convenient. If you need a specific item last minute, you may want to check a competitor or head downtown.
Very much recommend this place and would even suggest opting for this location over the downtown one if you want to avoid the crowds. The parking lot is a bit cramped, but it actually constrains the amount of traffic in the store, so it balances itself out.

Love coming here to get groceries. Staff is always helpful and informative. Jenn was a great help when I was looking for an item I couldn’t find. Fast and friendly check out service. Overall a great place to be!

Great staff, excellent service. So happy I live near there. I shop there often. I recommend this sweet spot!

Just what you expect from a Trader Joes. Store looks small from the outside but don’t be fooled… this store has large spacious aisles and lots of space for comfortable shopping. Plenty of Cashiers so there was no extended wait even though they were busy. Parking can be cramped, but there may be more parking towards the back of the store I didn’t see.

When ever I come into town I shop TJs and I love this store and the whole crew that I deal with are AWESOME. Love this store!

They have scooters for disabilities, lady that rung me up was considerate…
They have an awesome hummus selection…
But theres another trader joes nearby but I think this one has like a half step up

The staff here is very helpful and usually quite friendly. The selection is great, though their fresh veggies go bad very quickly after purchase. Their parking lot is a bit annoying (one way in, one way out), so go during down times to avoid congestion.

Cashiers are all super nice and helpful. Things I buy here:
Cheap bananas
Stuff to make pasta fresh basil cheese lemons
Dog treats
Cheap black beans
Awesome frozen fire roasted corn to throw in fajitas
Bargain wine
Delicious tangerine juice
Large eggs
Jasmine rice
Coffee filters
You get it. There’s never been a problem for me to get a parking spot but people fight over the front spots causing slight chaos at the entrance. Don’t sweat it, there’s much more parking than meets the eye.
Can I also add that I decorated my wedding and wedding dinner with flowers from trader joes. My flowers were beautiful and I saved a fortune.

Great service. Terrific products. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is the parking lot, a consistent weakness of every Trader Joe’s I’ve been to.

What a difference from the Munras location! Came here with a friend today to get some grocery shopping. Only annoying part is the parking lot; but it’s WAY more tolerable than the Munras location. Definitely worth the extra drive, this location is way better stocked and cleaner. Unlike the Munras location as well, you don’t need a code to get into the bathroom! Swaggy!
Everything was well-​stocked and organized; was able to get everything I needed and get out in a timely fashion. Our checker, Christy, was very friendly and held a conversation with us as we checked out.
I’ll be doing my future grocery shopping here when I need some Trader Joe’s goodness. Definitely check it out!

I love Trader Joe’s. This one is so convenient to my parent’s house that we can walk there to shop. What a difference from last year — since Blockbuster is gone, they have a much larger space. The aisles are wide, the store is clean and everything is fresh. The staff working here is so friendly and helpful.
I love the Trader Joe brand dark chocolate as does my mom. The specialty items I have tried have been good quality. I especially love the Nurnberg Bratwurst which are most like the original I had in Germany at a lovely Gasthaus outside the Christkindlmarkt.
I have to commend this store on their wine selection — Amarone, Barolo and Brunello for under $ 20 a bottle. This is unheard of in VA. They also have a limited selection of alcohols and the prices are extremely competitive.
My only con is parking. Although the parking lot was revamped and it was somewhat of an improvement, it is still a bit of a hassle getting in and out of.

They had me with the ocean view from the parking lot. The super wide aisles, everything so clean and the friendly staff were bonuses.

My first introduction to the world of Trader Joe’s…

Wish I could live close to here again!

If you live close and don’t try this out, you are missing out.

Best Trader Joes! Since they knocked down a wall, they’ve got so much more space… Makes shopping so pleasant. Best organic produce, I find the Monterey location runs out of things more regularly.
