I’m new to the Palisades and have always walked by Lisa’s salon and decided to make an appointment for myself before a huge concert I was attending at the Hollywood Bowl. She was fun to chat with and informative of the area. My hair came out beautifully. I received so many compliments that night on my hair.
I trusted her so much that I brought my mentally challenged sister — who had a style that was growing out awkwardly from a super short haircut. Lisa trimmed it up, evened the back to the front and made it actually look beautiful. My sister loved it and I loved what she did to make it look special for her.
I would recommend her to anyone. She’s the best!

LIsa is hard-​working and talented, an added bonus is that her prices are really reasonable. She has been cutting and highlighting my hair for over 14 years and she does an incredible job. I don’t live that close to her salon anymore, but it is worth the extra time to go to someone I trust. I highly recommend her work.

I LOVE A Cut Above hair salon! I go to Lisa regularly for a wash and blow dry when I have important events or meetings for my business. She also cuts my entire families hair. She has a clean and friendly salon and it feels so warm and comfortable. I highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to see Lisa at A Cut Above for YEARS!!! She’s always been great and listens to what I have to say in regards to how I want to style my hair. If I ever have an event to go to, I come here to have her do my hair and every time people have always complemented on how great it looks. Prices are great especially for the service you get. I’d definitely recommend coming here, my whole family does!
