Boca Man is my secret weapon to looking stylish and natty. I’ve been shopping here for almost 10 years (at its multiple locations). The staff is terrific, and they always have cool stuff. Their buyers and suppliers have great taste. The only hiccup for me is that much of the stuff is quite pricey, so I have be a little careful — I wait for sales and almost always find something I love at a really good price.

I found some great kitten heels here and some amazing roll-​on oil perfume over a year ago. The sales girls there are really helpful and friendly. LA girls are usually pretty aloof so don’t take it personally if they aren’t fawning over you. I agree that most of their clothing is aimed at an older demographic but there are still great pieces to be found for the younger crowds too.

I like this store… very nice on-​trend items for WOMEN. Not teenagers or twenty-​year olds, but for real women! For whatever reason, this is rare in LA, a city that makes women over 35 feel as if they need to look younger than their age. I love that the jewelry is beautiful, unique and from local makers… I feel like I am supporting a local business who gets it right shopping here. Their shoes are cute as well. The people who work there are very nice and helpful without the snobbery (huge bonus!). Definitely go take a look if you are in the area.

I had a great shopping experience at BOCA and it was 100% thanks to the service of the sales associates. I usually know what I like and what I am looking for in a store and so I don’t need a lot of help unless it’s to find a size. However, I absolutely LOVE when I need help, that it’s there in abundance! I was looking for a pair of black skinny jeans and picked up a pair that I liked, but needed a different size. Instead of merely saying that they did not have that size, she proceeded to pull about 8 more different pairs for me to try on — ALL BETTER than the first pair I picked up. What a fabulous sales associate! She knew her stuff. I really like when you know your merchandise! :) So instead of walking out empty-​handed, I had so many options that I was STUCK. And a couple more associates came over to help me make up my mind!
The ladies were helpful, very nice, and not pushy or pretentious. I will definitely be back! (but probably not for a little while since the hole in my wallet is deep, lol)

I really like this store. In addition to a great selection of jeans, dresses, jackets, etc., they have gorgeous jewelry. They also have a beautiful selection of scarves. I was surprised to find they have shoes, boots and handbags too. (Not a big selection, though) Salesgirls are very sweet, know the inventory and will encourage you to try on items that aren’t necessarily great on a hangar but look good on. I like that they carry Theory brand so I don’t have to go to the mall. Some of the brands are pricey but when compared to other Palisades stores like Madison (tiny, not much selection and too expensive) and Elyse Walker (only for the super rich who buy couture) Boca is my go-​to store in the Palisades.

Seriously overpriced blah clothes. The sales person didn’t get what l was looking for (which was fairly simple), I had to explain three times. Then she brought me jeans in every size but mine, including a pair that was probably four sizes larger than mine… what the hec??? She was sweet, but incompetent. I am not going back, it would be a waste of time.

Nice store– variety of price points, very nice sales ladies. Some nice jewlery too.

I didn’t have very much luck shopping in LA this weekend… it was one of those times when everything just looks eh on you. Bad for wardrobe, but I guess good for the wallet. However, if I was going to have luck anywhere it would have probably been at Boca because they by far had the best clothes for the price. Boca is by no means inexpensive, but pretty standard pricing in comparison to the other mid-​scale trendy boutiques I shop at in Chicago. All the clothing items I picked out ranged from $ 100– $ 500. Brands included Diane Von Furstenberg, Susana Monaco, Kooba (yeah, cute purses too!), among many others.
When I got to my dressing room I noticed there were a few other items in there that I hadn’t picked out. And they just happened to be in my size… well, isn’t that convenient. So yeah, I guess the sales girls take it upon themselves to pick out other things they think you’d like when you’re looking around. And I’m sure this works to their advantage because I promptly put on the clothes. Unfortunately, as I mentioned before nothing quite worked for me, but I“d definitely return to Boca on future visits to LA.
Oh, and the sales associates were super sweet, which always makes shopping more enjoyable… even if you don’t buy anything.
