The guy who our order was nice, my only complaint is that my sister and cousin went into the bathroom and there was no toilet paper to use

I felt like I was taking crazy pills when I ordered a sandwich from this subway. The girls behind the counter looked at my husband and I like we were not speaking words that they understood. The whole transaction was just so uncomfortable with these two gems. And then our meal qualified for a free cookie and they weren’t going to tell us, but it popped up on the screen attached to the register so we pushed for it. The ginger cookie is great.

Good gone girl get a grip. The two female staff at this subway clearly hate their jobs. No greeting, resting bitch faces, and extremely rude. End of story.

Why the heck am I sitting outside Subway wasting my Sunday morning writing a review for a franchise restaurant that is supposed to be identical to all the other Subways? Because the staff in this one really should be doing something else with their lives; something they enjoy. They’re just laboriously passing the time and it’s sad. The sadness is painful to watch. I think some of the sadness made its way into my sandwich and now I’m crying while eating it. Joking aside, a smile or hello goes a long way. Also not snatching the receipt out of my hand when I said I didn’t need it wasn’t necessary.

The lady started to make my tuna sandwich with the same gloves she used to handle ham. After I asked her to change gloves she made my sandwich with a layed of tuna about ½ a millimeter thin. Basically, my sandwich was all bread.

Stopped in for breakfast; I wanted the $ 3 special. Unfortunately, I got waited on by the«newbie» who was virtually solo and had to keep asking whoever was teaching her who was back in the kitchen which made the entire process painfully s-l-o-w. She made me a $ 4 sandwich because she gave me the wrong information and I ended up paying $ 6 out the door — even though I asked beforehand if what I wanted was part of the special. I was quite unhappy about that — know your product and honor what you told me!!! When I went to get some coffee(which I was in desperate need of), they were completely out. Her«teacher”/supervisor realized that I was waiting and came out to check on the coffee after I cast a look her way and offered to pour my cup which she did and then told me I could fill it some more as it was only ¾ full. Why even do it for me then??? The store is very dark and institutional feeling. Friendly, slow and horrendous service all at the same time; not likely I will ever return. Surprising considering the area it is located in…

First of all, does anyone know what the policy in regards to staff changing their gloves in between orders to avoid contamination? Curious and concerned as to understand Subway’s hygiene standards, and why the hygiene here seems to be way below other Subways here in Los Angeles. I ask this because yesterday when I went in and ordered a foot long veggie sub, both the girl who cut and laid out the bread, as well as the girl who put the salad in my roll, did not change their gloves prior to my order(nor did I see them change their gloves before that). However, the Subway on Montana(in Santa Monica) methodically changes their gloves in between every order. As a vegan, I don’t expect any special treatment, but a little consideration and sensitivity couldn’t go astray. Watching the girls heavily-handedly slap the meat and cheese into the sub prior to my order, before using those same gloves to put salad into mine was repulsive to say the least. Normally I would feel entitled to call them out on it, and ask them politely to change their gloves, but I was in such a hurry and too mortified at the time to speak up. After yesterday’s experience and seeing the complete disregard to hygiene and potential contamination, I would not recommend this Subway to anyone. Would rather spend an extra few dollars and pick something up from Gelson’s up the road instead.

This is my local Subway and I frequent it. The workers are very nice and generous with the veggie toppings. I always feel welcomed and have had only positive experiences.

Workers of the world unite! I came in for a sandwich and was sad to find my local artisan sandwich makers are not given much in ways of benefits and overtime for working holidays like thanksgiving. The people that work here are really nice, and I’m sure they are pulling in a pretty penny for the person that owns this franchise. I hope I’m wrong, but seems like these people are not treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. I may have to consider going elsewhere.

We came in here two weeks ago after the hike in the Temescal Canyon Gateway Park. Very small subway, but it is very clean and has restroom which is a plus. The tuna sandwich I got tasted pretty bad, but I was hungry so I had to eat a few bites. The lettuce tasted soapy, so I didn’t finish my sandwich. The guy who made the sandwiches for us was a nice guy, but it turns out he put the wrong cheese on the meatball sandwich for my son who was too polite to tell him on the spot. Meanwhile I wasn’t tuned in to my little guy who kept trying to tell me something, and I didn’t let him finish telling me before sending him to the restroom. There is a very nice patio sitting area outside, pretty nice for a Subway!

I had a good experience here. I went at around 4 so it was filled with Middle & High School kids but oh well. The service was okay a little slow but they made my salad it was good and I was happy. Only negative they charged me for Avo. the other subway I got o NEVER charges me for Avo since I only get the salads…

Worst subway. Ive been here four times. Every time I’ve gone in this girl and younger guy with headphones on just stand around while one lady does work. Worst of all they charge sales tax on a non toasted sub to go which everyone knows is not charged tax at every subway but they had no idea what I was talking about.
