I’m typically not a Lucky’s fan but I like coming to this store because the staff is very friendly and helpful and that is always a big deal for me. Another plus is the membership card saves you money on store items and on gas at Shell which is across the street. So if I’m going to Lucky’s, it will be this one.

With a heavy hand and a hungry belly, I came here after it seemed like everything was closed save the McDonalds near by. But even with a hungry belly, I wasn’t desperate enough to trust that bloody clown and his blasted fry guys. The old saying of never going into a grocery store hungry is true and I am a fool for not heeding them words. As I walked into here without a thought in my mind as to what I needed. The hot food section was well past closed, just like everything else in this blasted area of town. Walking up and down the isles looking as to what could satisfy both the need for food as well as not be gross… well, let’s just say I choose poorly. The cold sandwich areas had pre-wrapped sandwiches, who knows how old. But since they were on a special with members card, and nothing else was remotely close to being able for me to cook it, nor prepare it in my hotel room, I had to go with it. My god, whoever came up with packaged meatloaf sandwich. I think I could blame late night madness and a jury of my peers would lay sympathy on my poor stomach lining. I also had a turkey, which wasn’t too bad. In all, I think I probably should give this place more than 2 stars as it was an only option in a dead post-10pm area, but I can’t muster to give it more than 2.5 at best. If you’re in a pinch and this is all you have, perhaps you should just go for the chicken nuggets at McDonalds. Or perhaps you shouldn’t be stuck in this Silent Hill inspired town with the fog rolling in like it does. At the very least bring some snacks so you’re not stuck buying god awful premade sandwiches at a market in the late hours of the night. I’m sure for regular groceries and what not, this place will scratch that itch fairly well. But prepared foods… no thanks.

You can’t miss this place. You’ll see it right after u exit Hickey blvd to Gateway drive. I used to live at the apartment right across from this place so i used to run here and buy some milk all the time. Sad news! Its now CLOSED!!! replaced by Luckys. I think all Albertsons are replaced buy Luckys.

albertsons is your typical supermarket. there isn’t too much more to say about it. if you’re in the neighborhood, go ahead and grab some groceries. their bakery section isn’t impressive; their deli is very average(safeway has a far superior deli section and more variety in food as well); and the produce section in this particular store is quite limited. some weeks, they will have good deals on big hunks of meat or pineapples/avocados, but you can generally find the same, if not better, deals at foods co or safeway.
