Part of the Family

We have 3 big dogs with their own special quirks! One is a new rescue who came from a dog hoarding situaton. He’s very skittish and kenneling wouldn’t have worked well for him. I went on Unilocal and found Moira. She came and met the dogs, and regardless of their special needs, agreed to dog sit for us!
She gave us detailed emails every night letting us know how the dogs were doing. It was such a huge relief to know that they were being cared for as well as if they were home.
We now have Moira walking our dogs a couple of times a week to keep the relationship going. I highly recommend her services!

Moira and Eric are watching my beloved Dexter right now, while my house is repaired from fire damage. Dexter is an old guy with hip problems, he’s hairy and sometimes he is stinky. He is lovable and dorky at 120 lbs. I needed a special place for him to go. He was traumatized from losing his companion of 11 years recently, and then being displaced with the fire. I needed him to be in a safe HOME. Not a kennel, not a huge group play area, just a calm and warm home. Dex is loving being with Moira, Eric and the other dogs. I have been able to visit him, but he is always happy to go back to their house. This is kind of a longer term boarding period than I would like, but Dexter is getting the best care. I am so pleased with how he is doing. Thanks Moira & Eric.

I brought my 7 year old cocker spaniel-​poodle to Moira about 3 months ago while I was traveling for business overseas. My dog is absurdly difficult to take care of but she is a sweety and i needed someone who was both capable enough and caring enough to deal with a multitude of health problems that Shelby suffers from; she has pancreas problems and has to eat this food that she really wont eat unless you make it a game for her, she has arthritus in her back legs and she plain and simply needs attention more than any other dog i’ve ever had.
Now that you see what Moira had to deal with, let me say that not only did she lovingly and perfectly care for Shelby’s difficult regimen, but being around the other dogs helped her to socialize which she’s always had issues around. Thankyou Moira! It’s so wonderful to have someone i know i can trust with Shelby.

O-​kay! I am a total fan of this business.
A little background: My sister has a corgy. I am a big fan of Corgys and would love to one day have one of my own. I decided to be a good uncle and baby sit her baby. WRONG idea.
That baby is a wild monster! I found Moira through a friend and dropped off this little terd.
I come to pick him up 2 days later, and he was calm. I ask Moira what kind of drugs she gave him and if I could have some. She said — «I just ran with him on the beach the whole afternoon.»
Note taken: if i need to be a good uncle again, i’ll take the corgy to Moira’s.

Moira, Erik, and Charlie really are considered part of our family as our two and a half year old GSP (Musket) is truly a part of their family. When we go out of town, we know we’re leaving Musket in the best hands! As discerning parents of a very energetic rescued Pointer who is prone to slipping his leash and taking off after birds with very little hope for a successful recall, we know Moira and Erik have it covered. We can trust that our boy will be safe and happy while we are away and trusting that quells our own separation anxiety! Charlie, Part of the Fam’s canine contingent, is one of Musket’s best friends and was integral to helping him successfully socialize with new dogs. Yay Charlie, we love you!
