The guy who scooped our ice cream wouldn’t put two flavors in a single scoop for me which could have risked my cone tasting like Haterade, but it didn’t. It tasted like nostalgia. Strawberry cylinder scoop on a plain cone = me n my big bros gettin’ an after school treat with mom inside the Thrifty’s in the Coddingtown Mall in Santa Rosa. A small price for her to pay to shop at Mervyn’s in peace for 10 minutes.

Wahhh, so glad I finally had my scoop of Thrifty’s after years of hearing about it! When I found out the pink and blue ice cream was Cotton Candy flavor, I was a bit skeptical but after trying it, I was sold! It’s so yummy and not what I had expected it to be. I also had the birthday cake a second time and that was good too.

YYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSS! I found Thrifty’s Cotton Candy ice cream through Cookie Bar in Oakland and I KNEW I had to find out where they sold it. Who knew the Thrifty Ice Cream Counter in Pacifica had it all this time! I would definitely avoid actually purchasing the ice cream from the counter as my sister found an employee’s chin hair in her ice cream, hence the 4 stars, and go straight for the prepackaged pints and quarts, which are much cheaper than the scoop. I love you Rite Aid for carrying my Cotton Candy ice cream, but please tell your employees who serve the ice cream to cut their pube-like chin hairs!

SUPER rude lady at the Ice Cream station. Not helpful and acted like he could care less about my 4 year old. We will NOT return.

You can’t beat the price for a scoop of choc malted crunch ice cream! Comfort food, local and cheap!
