The food is delicious but the customer service is horrible! The lady is rude as hell and its never cleaned tables dirty no napkins nothing.

This place is legit. Just nailed 2 barbacoa and 2 carnitas taco options. 100% delicious, simple, amazing. Meat was soft but had texture. Awesome seasonings, salsas were bright and fragrant. Easy on the wallet too. Pacoima’s not on many people’s route but if it shows up, drop in an pay respect to The Don.

Amazing Tacos! This is one of my favorite places to eat tacos! Homemade tortillas, and they have this particular taste to their food reminds me of my mother’s cooking.

The tacos here are good, made with hand made tortillas which is a plus. I’ve also tried their burrito de carne asada which was also good but, got a little carried away with their homemade green salsa and made it too spicy but, still good. I would also suggest trying the mulitas, its sort of like a quesadilla but with any choice of meat. The barbacoa is good as well. I’m becoming a regular here now

The people with the popular food truck( ) have opened a restaurant. It’s a divey hole-in-the-wall, but it’s still more hospitable than eating on the street at night from their food truck. Also like the truck, the prices are also low and only cash is accepted. Although the menu was bigger than the truck, the food was very similar including those fabulous freshly made corn tortillas. We ordered a thick cheese mulita and tacos with various meats. The most popular dish among other patrons was the pozole. Perhaps I’ll order that on my next visit.

Great place to have awesome mex food. A must try. The barbacoa is the best in town! Oh and let’s not forget the hand made tortillas!

BAM! don cucos finally has a physical location! Alright, so it is a straight up hole-in-the-wall type of place. There are only a few tables, a fridge with drinks, register, and the food prep station. The tortillas are still amazing, but since they are no longer working out of a truck, they have a lot of the meat precooked in buffet style containers. The asada was more soggy than I would have liked, but it was still pretty good. The carnitas were still tasty. The place doesn’t have great ventilation so if it is a hot day outside, it won’t be much better inside. I think it might also have to do with the fact that the large fridge generates a lot of heat too. They should really consider expanding their menu. As for hours, I believe they are only open until about 5PM. After that, they head out in the truck and set up shop in their normal place.
