Great place to shop for today’s fashion! Sometimes the clothes don’t come out as good quality, I’ve had sweaters’s buttons rip out, pant’s material cheap, and shirts dyed. I still give it a 4-star rating because I get along with the owner and employees! Store bouncer is strict but friendly! Great place for casual wear!

I always shop here for my toms, they always have a wide variety. Their customer service is okay. But overall its a pretty good store

Truly a hypebeast’s paradise. I arrived at the store for the first time expecting a very rundown, Venice beach-type skateshop/shoe store, but I was surprised to find that I was completely wrong. New Star is a very clean, organized, and affordable store to go to when searching for the latest hype beast piece of clothing. This receives a four star simply because the customer service was not as on point as I would have liked it to be. Overall, however, a great store that I will definitely be revisiting.

Boyfriend took me here to buy me a pair of TOMS. Noticed that one was a bit worn and stretched out, they exchanged the shoes no problem and were really cool and nice about it. A lot of shopping variety and good customer service.

En route from visiting my storage container I noticed the Dickies logo on the front of the store. I’ve been on the lookout for other colors of Dickies skinny pants(after having discovered them in the school uniform section of the Bishop Kmart for $ 18). New Star also had them in light gray, dark blue and a dark gray twill for $ 6 more, a meager price to pay for fashion. The bulk of the store is guys’ stuff and there’s a sizable selection of Vans and skater stuff. They carry a variety of Dickies items, mostly catering to the school and occupational uniform crowd. All in all a satisfying discovery.

So after searching high and low for some Maroon Converse, I had finally given up hope and resigned myself to the fact that i’d either have to go to the mall(boooooo!!) and pay some ridiculous amount for them or go online. A friend of mine told me about New Star and said that I may be able to find them there. I went last week, picked some up, AND they were $ 5.00 bucks cheaper than my usual go to place Shoe City. Oh, and they give you some type of card where they add 10% from your total purchase everytime you go in and in the end there’s like a $ 10.00 buck discount or some shit. Hey it’s free.
