I have always enjoyed Applebee’s because you know what you’re going to get. Unfortunately this location was not at all like the other experiences I’ve had.
Bartender was rude and used profanity in front of guests.
Food arrived cold and had to be sent back.
I uploaded a picture of the view into the back where we could see not just one but two overflowing trash cans.

My son & two of his friends dined (I use that word loosely) there today.
Today was the server’s first day. She wasn’t being shadowed at all.
The orders were very easy & she wrote them down correctly, my son watched her.
Needless to say none, I said none were correct!
He brought me a grilled chicken Caesar salad home, guess what? There was a bug in my salad! Yes a black bug!!! Gross!

So annoyed that I couldn’t even wait to leave first before I made this review. I know this is a chain restaurant but the service doesn’t also come «canned» so to speak. Ashley the bartender has no sense of customer service, at least when it came to me. I watch her ask every other patron around me many times if they were fine or needing anything else while she pointedly avoided even making eye connect with me (when all I wanted was an extra napkin!!). How awful! I wasn’t rude, I hadn’t even complained about anything. In fact I tried to make small talk with her but nope that didn’t work either. On top of that the carne asda nachos barely had any meat on it. If you’re coming here don’t sit at the bar, avoid Ashley at all costs.

Typical Applebee’s menu.
I tried the «new» Pineapple Asian Burger. You would think that it would have a slice of pineapple on it by its’ name. Nope. I guess the pineapple is mixed into the beef according to the server.
Service was very sporadic even though the store was not too busy other than some regulars. I stopped because I was staying in town while working but will most likely not return to this location based upon the service issues.

I was just driving through so this was just a roadside stop for me. Slow service both times I went and a particularly unfriendly bartender on trip #2. I have to say though the Napa Chicken & Portobello dish was surprisingly good, not the usual Applebee’s junk.

Applebee’s has always been my favorite. My husband and I was so glad that we found one right off the hwy when we were passing through on my way to MO. The food was alright. My server (Linda) was… erh… it was almost closing time so I get that she want to go home. but it was very unpleasant, she didn’t clear our table, didn’t refill our drinks, had attitude and grumpy because we were one of the few late customers. Almost rude to the point that we feel unwelcome. We got our bill 5 mins after our food was delivered. she didn’t even bother to ask if we want dessert. :((

Used to be my favorite place to eat! Now I’m disappointed. They have done away with their baked potatoes and twisted chips!!! A steak house without a baked potato. Is just wrong.

Passing thru on our way home to rockford il from cadiz Kentucky. Server was great. Attentive and food was served quickly.
Clean establishment and very peacefully quiet for the number of people here

I hate leaving a bad review, but our experience was so bad I felt I needed to post this. We waited 20 minutes after we were seated before we were addressed. Our appetizer came five minutes before entrée. Our entrées were cold no one ever came back to fill our drinks and we waited forever to get our check. Money is dear right now, we were just needing a nice pampering evening, and this was anything but. Will not go back here.
