First off, this isn’t really a grocery. I’m sure it was years and years ago, but now it’s an awesome place to get lunch!
There is a deli in the back where they make your sandwich to order. It’s all basic, but the meat/cheese/bread/veggies are fresh that day and all of the highest quality. It’s kind of what Subway wants to be! There are daily specials that rotate, burger day is a favorite. Order your sandwich, grab a drink & some chips, pay at the old register up front.
It’s only open a few hours a day, expect a line around lunch time as all the lawyers and court house employees walk over. Classic Paducah spot!
