Food was hot and prompt. You better go here hungry plenty of groceries. The server was nice and did a good job.

We love the other Gondalier’s Pizzas, so we were excited to see that while visiting Paducah, there is one here as well. As always the pizza was awesome. My husband had a gyro which he liked. The breadsticks were just ok. Very dry and bland. I normally eat breadsticks plain, so I wasn’t too impressed. My biggest complaint is that restaurant, specifically our table and menus wreaked of bleach. While I am all for disinfecting, this was a little much. Upon another visit to Paducah, I’m sure we’d return to Gondalier’s.

My friends and I saw that this restaurant had recently opened and wanted to try it out. Was disappointed with the service as our waiter asked me a few minutes after ordering what I had ordered and they could not get our drink orders correct. Strike 1. Then the people around us who had been seated later then us had received their food before us(our table being 4 people) Strike 2. We finally get our food and it is cold. One of my friends ended up suffering food poisoning Strike 3. The chicken rice was disgusting btw. Our waiters were inattentive and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are other Italian restaurants in town. Avoid this like the plague.

Well, my boyfriend and I finally were able to try the Gondoliers, we were very excited as we both are self proclaimed«foodies» and had heard several good reviews. Sadly, our experience was very disappointing. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Marsala, which was basically a pile of pasta with a brown mushroom gravy and was almost inedible, I’ve had chicken Marsala so many times in my life and this was not in anyway chicken Marsala. I had the gyro plate, I’ve never had a gyro that greasy before. We also ordered the spinach pie(spanakopita), it had obviously been microwaved and was also extremely greasy and chewy due to it being microwaved. Our server was awesome the breadsticks and drinks were good. I only write this review from a constructive criticisms point of view. Maybe the cooks need a bit more training and menu a little review, as we spent a little over $ 40 on our meal and were very disappointed. Unfortunately, we will not be giving the gondoliers a second try.

Ignore any previous comments referencing other restaurants. If that’s how you’d prefer your food to be prepared… dine at that particular restaurant. For those interested in dining at Gondolier, make it happen. The pizza here is easily within the top 3 best pizza joints in town. Should you decide to choose one of their MANY other menu items, prepare to spend every bit of 20 minutes to make up your mind. Possibly overwhelming to some, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find an unpleasant meal. Timely service, delicious drinks, beautiful atmosphere. As long as you did not mistakenly pull into the Gondolier parking lot thinking you were at Olive Garden, you will not be disappointed.

First experience. The bruschetta was like soggy bread with diced tomatoes and cheese on top. We sent it back. They need to go try the bruschetta at mellow mushroom. It was not good. They do not have a house salad like pasta house or Olive Garden. It’s just a plain old salad. inside Looks pretty much the same as when it was Pasta house. They could use some dividers in the large seating area. To make things cozy and not so loud. My first impression is a thumbs down. And they had a health grade of C on the front door. On a good note the chicken picata was ok. And our server was nice.
