Marco’s Pizza

The pizza is great. Maybe the best I have had in Paducah. The service on the other hand is lacking to say the least. I had a horrible experience this evening. I came in with my 16 month old daughter in tow, I had ordered and paid online, arrived the quoted 22 minutes after my order was placed. I stood at the counter and 6 workers looked at me and didn’t acknowledge me, I patiently stood there because they appeared busy, I waited a good 5 minutes and still not a word from any of the workers still making eye contact with me. After 5 – 10 minutes still no one says a word to me, a woman that I learned was the general manager still doesn’t greet me but calls to the back for someone else to come up front. The guy that came from the back was polite, looked up my order, which wasn’t ready and basically walked off. I wait another 10 minutes or so and my name is called, my order is ready, I collect it from an employee and once again, I’m not acknowledged, she doesn’t say a word to me, she just hands some boxes my way and promptly walks off. I wasn’t greeted. No one apologized for ignoring me for several minutes. No one apologized for the wait. No one thanked me for my business. Nothing. I can understand they were business but they were talking to each other, why couldn’t they take 2 seconds to say «Welcome, someone will be with you in a moment»? Common courtesy, after all I am a paying customer. I should have addressed this issue in the store but I had my baby with me and decided to call instead. I called upon leaving and to my surprise I learn that one of the many employees that ignored me was a MANAGER! Such a shame. A manager should lead by example, right? Well, Nina Smith manager of Marco’s pizza in Paducah, KY, set an example and her employees certainly followed. I can excuse a lot of things but disrespect is not one of those things, kindness and professionalism go along way, I will not be back.

Saw the delivery car, and said to myself hmm I will give them a try. Ordered a medium UNO. Fast delivery, and was amazed at how hot the cheese was. Vegetables were extremely fresh, and the sauce and crust were perfect. will order again before I give them 5 stars but definitely good stuff!

Nice thin crust but 11 for small pizza with 2 toppings was a little expensive
Good flavor overall, find a coupon!

We ordered for the first time yesterday, the family agreed, it was the best chain/​franchise pizza we had eaten. The employee that took our phone order was happy to answer my questions and very friendly, same with the delivery guy.
Pizza arrived quickly and piping hot. Overall quality was excellent, the cheese, sauce and toppings rivaled my favorite local pizza restaurant/​dive bar. Two bonus surprises, there is no delivery charge and the first container of dipping sauce is free (I didn’t know this when I ordered). The driver also left a small ziploc full of parmesan and red pepper flakes packages.
Marco’s Pizza is our new go-​to for delivery. My only request would be adding a white Alfredo type sauce option.
