I brought the kids(ages 6&8) to Ya-Ya’s Island today to beat the heat and they had a great time! We’ve been here several times a year since they were toddlers, but I’ve never written a review. I really liked how I paid to get in and we could stay all day if we wanted to. They do have arcade type games that cost extra, but my kids had fun just on the playhouses. Thanks to Ya-Ya’s Island for providing this great place for my kids to run around and play!

My son had gone there on a summer break field trip and had a great time so I decided we should return on our own. The location is easy to find and very clearly labeled. You pay for admission(adults are free) plus any game tokens you want. They also have a membership type deal where you can visit and save over a longer commitment. I would do this if I lived closer. I liked the overall look of the play area. There’s various places to play such as a tree house, bouncy house, and climbing structure with slide. There was also a small«train» which is kid powered with multiple cars for kids to ride on. Basically, an arm pedal thing around a set track. Also, there was a place corralled off for the younger set to have a safer place to play. I expected it to be busy(since it was a Saturday) but was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t overcrowded. There’s plenty of room, unless you want a table. Then, you’ll probably have to fight over the few that aren’t be continuously occupied by exhausted parents/grandparents/guardians. The food was good, plenty of things to choose from between sandwiches, pizza, and snack items. Overall, I would enjoy it better if there was a place for people to hang coats, have a lounge(with some lovely leather chairs) and some wi-fi for the adults.

Kids love it! I also like to play the games. Prices are reasonable.

Stupid commercial… don’t even tell you where it’s at… the Yaya guy is obnoxious… but just ask anyone with kids… they’ll tell you… The stupid commercial is effective… Made me go there just to see! I dragged my brother in there to «investigate» when we visited Gander Mountain Outdoors store close by… they had parrots… finches… a lizard of sorts… a snake and a lot of tropical fish in tanks toward the playground… luckily there was only about five screaming kids playing on a pretty good little fantasy land… then… I saw the food counter! Pizza of course… Panini sandwiches were on «special» and free refills on drinks… no alcohol… I talked my brother into trying one… I had chicken… he had turkey… While we were waiting… I noticed my brother looking around… up at the decorations… sorta like the first time I took him to «Hooters»…he looked out of place…62 years old and me 55… hmm…no wonder there were stares… lol For kids and parents looking to run some energy out… great place… the Panini sandwiches… good…to go next time… if there ever is a next time… maybe for the grands… when they visit… www.superpages.com/bp/Paducah-KY/Yayas-Island-L0507096749.htm
