We had dinner at Bonkers on 8÷31÷15. We were in Page to visit Antelope Canyon which was wonderful! But this restaurant put a bow on our trip. The staff is extremely friendly. They even recommended a trail for me to run on the next day … the Rim Trail that goes around the city. The food was excellent! I only wish I lived closer to this restaurant. Highly recommended!

Allow me to give you the menu description of the Garlic Burger: «Garlic-infused Certified Angus Beef patty served on garlic-toasted ciabatta bun, with red leaf, tomato, onions and sliced pickles on the side.» I sat at the bar eating this and considered ordering another one to take with me eat for lunch the next day. Oh, who am I kidding, it would’ve been breakfast. OK, a midnight snack. Anyway, the point is it was delicious. I enjoyed that food, along with a cold brew, at the bar of this place because it was completely packed with a long waiting list. So an early dinner is probably your best bet. But, although the bar is small, it’s fine for a single diner or a couple. The manager was nice. He made sure I got a spot and a waitress, and personally checked on me a couple times. Waitress was really friendly despite being insanely busy and putting up with the mindless chatter of the other tourists. I highly recommend this as your dinner stop in Page. And I highly recommend that burger.

Great place in downtown Page. I’m on a Doctor prescribed High nutrition vegan special diet. Unfortunately our American way of life centers Around meat as the main portion of the meal. Unfortunately that type of diet is why Americans have one of the highest cancer rate in the World. I digress. What I need to say is how accommodating this restaurant was to my needs. The Chef Owner came out to the table and between the two of us decided upon a very creative dish. Guess what? It was delicious. Thank you Bonkers

This is the one place for fine dining in Page AZ. The exterior sign belies a superbly decorated interior depicting the beauty of AZ and UT natural treasures. The Italian dishes were authentic and the lamb was the best I’ve had in the northern hemisphere and fabulous garlic mashed potatoes. Their homemade, fresh dinner rolls are unsurpassed in texture and flavor. Excellent service. A bit pricey, but the food is a quality that calls for the prices asked.

After a long day and trips to Antelope Lower Canyon(tour) and then going up to Horseshoe Bend, our hungry family of 9, of ages ranging from 9 to 67 needed a solid meal before our drive back to Seligman, AZ, where we were staying(Grand Canyon Caverns, which I’ve already reviewed). We have some picky eaters in our group and we did a quick look on restaurants in nearby Page. We found Bonkers«Casual Dining» restaurant and thought, if lucky, they would have something for everyone in our party. We got there right before the dinner rush so our party of 9 was seated in what appeared to be the only table in the place that could seat all of us, so we were seated pretty much instantly. The waitress came quickly and took everyone’s drink order and asked if we wanted some warm bread, to which we all said«YESPLEASE!» The bread rolls were crispy and fluffy on the inside, served with whipped butter and it was a delicious little appetizer for our meals to come. I ordered the Gyro as I wanted something quick and it was as good as any Gyro I’ve had in L.A. I liked that the tzatziki was served on the side and it was just the right amount. My wife had one of the pastas and she loved it, she shared some with me and it was delicious(as was the garlic bread that came with it). My son had the mac & cheese and he inhaled it(thought it was delicious). My teenage Football player nephew had the ½ rack of ribs and he said they were delicious too. My mother in law who loves soups had one and thought it was delicious as well; everyone’s meal report was an «A+». Drinks were great too, I like plain Iced Tea with my meals and this was a freshly brewed tea with plenty of refills. I highly recommend Bonkers, an unassuming gem of a restaurant in Page, AZ. If you are visiting Horseshoe Bend and doing the Antelope Canyon tours, this place is definitely worth the 15 minute drive!

Don’t let the name fool you, there was nothing bonkers about the food and service we received tonight! Our server, Danelle, did an amazing job making sure her customers were satisfied with everything. The menu provided many options, so everyone got exactly what they wanted. I had the salmon, and it was phenomenal! We will defiantly be back when in this region.

The biggest Unilocal mistake we’ve made so far. Okay, so Page is small, it has a few restaurants, but most close pretty soon. Bonkers was still open and it had awesome reviews on Unilocal(mostly 5 and 4 stars). What could go wrong, right? It must be really good. It was our mistake that we only checked the first few reviews on the site(which were 5 or 4 stars — probably made by the locals who, judging by the reviews, don’t ever step out of Page and this restaurant is top of the world to them). Never had we been more sorry not to check the 1, 2 or 3 stars as well. So in we go. The place looks a bit old and run down, but the looks can be deceiving. I guess the regulars and the staff don’t care all that much about it. We get a table and order the drinks and dive into the menu. Prices are steep, but okay, if the food is good, I don’t see a problem with that. Too bad that’s not the case here. They just exploit the fact that most tourists pass through here or even stay overnight. Husband orders Bruschettas and I order gluten-free Garlic Bread for starters. Bruschettas were decent, Garlic Bread was something that I would make in a hurry and throw on a first plate that came my way, for someone I really disliked. It was just an ordinary gluten-free toast(that you buy in the nearest Safeway), sparkled with some cheese. Seriously… you could have at least tried. Then we order a medium rare Filet Mignon(sides: potato and a salad) and gluten-free Penne with Shrimp Pesto. Biggest mistake ever! The cook should have apologized to that cow! The steak was well done and we didn’t even finish it. Potato was okay(you can’t really mess that one up, can you?), but the salad never came. Penne were overcooked and there was no sign of pesto on my plate. There was some garlic shredded all over and Penne were swimming in liquid(I’m guessing from oil and shrimps). I won’t even try to describe the shrimps. We skipped the desert, because we were so disappointed at that point that we just wanted to leave. Our waitress brought the check(for $ 100 and something — we only ordered one glass of wine and an orange juice, so you can get the picture) and the salad was on it, so we disputed it. She didn’t even apologize, but feigned surprise(«Oh, nobody brought it?» — well, it was your job to do that, not ours). Luckily we weren’t one of those unlucky customers that got the Suggested Service Fee already on the check(check some other Unilocal reviews here to see what I’m talking about), because we wouldn’t have paid it. Horrible. Avoid at all costs. Save money and spend it elsewhere, seriously.

Great spot, but it tends to get a little busy. Wait staff are on the young side, but attentive enough. They push the desserts, because there is probably no way you have room after an entrée. I am against going back someplace on vacation, sort of spread it around. If staying in Page more than 3 days, I am sure I would be back here.

Okay this is one of the strangest places I have eaten dinner. First let me say: the food was delicious, and the servers/hosts/owners are delightful. Especially the owners are kind, communicative, and totally sincere/helpful. I had the salmon burger which was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Now for the reason it’s three stars… it is hugely overpriced. Maybe because it’s in a remote location? The décor is seriously bizarre. Maybe that’s why it’s called«bonkers»? What a strange mix of desert, fancy, casual, etc. Because of how strange the set up/art/feel of the restaurant is, it’s hard to charge that much for food. If atmosphere and ambiance are not your priorities, and you don’t care about price limit, this is the place to go.

Absolutely wonderful dinner experience! I was pleasantly surprised to have such a wonder Ahi Tuna with an apple cobbler for desert that was to die for. Service was impeccable with warmth and authenticity. I would most definitely recommend this place. Great find

Came here for dinner last night and pleasantly surprised. It is a family owned establishment and the meals were very good. We started with the artichoke dip and the ham and potato soup which was delicious. For our meals I had the New York strip and my wife the chicken marsala. Both were delicious as well. I added the sautéed onions and mushrooms. I would have liked the onions more carmelized and I’ll have to remember to order it next time. We ended the night with homemade chocolate cake and that too was very good. All in all a great place to dine and I’ll sure be coming back. My hats off to Chef Barb!

It troubles me how this restaurant has such good ratings. 16 $ gets you a few meatballs, pasta, and what tastes like out of the can Ragu sauce. Better off going to the Denny’s down the street. +1 star for the friendly employees.

2 stars for service but slow. Food was okay. This restaurant is a racist. Dont stereo-profiling us or any ASIAN that will dine in your restaurant. We know exactly how to tips and we dont need you to guide us on how to just because we’re Asians. I gave you 15% even after all this tips attitude. I didnt see you doing that to other tables. You only did it to us, asians. Sucha racist restaurant, wouldnt come back and wouldnt suggest anyone to come here; esp Asians. For those Asians who are thinking to eat here, think twice. They will guide you for their tips and they will keep reminding you to tips them.

I was just curious did you guys put suggested service on all your bills or only becoz of we are Asian. When I said I want to sign the tips myself and you circle the word«tips» again to remind me… seriously? The service was fine, I understood you were busy so the service were slow and I didn’t complain at all. If you are confident about your service you shouldn’t worry about your tips. Even after all these unpleasantness, I still tips you 15% because I respect servers. Food: 4 Service: 4 Attitude: 2

This is a pretty quirky restaurant, but you could have probably figured that out by the name. Bonkers is an Italian restaurant with some pretty awesome murals & the meals are decent. We ordered a crab popper appetizer & it seemed like it was heated from a frozen food package. For dinner I tried the chicken Marsala, which was pretty good but not mind blowing. I guess this place is one of the better restaurants in Page(because it’s not a chain restaurant), but don’t expect a culinary delight. Something that did turn me off was the slow service. After hours of driving on my road trip, the last thing I wanted to do was sit for a prolonged period of time waiting for the food & check to come.

Meh, it’s alright. I guess it’s one of the best restaurants in Page but even for a small town restaurant it’s just alright. I believe the dollar gauge should be three dollars($$$) not two($$). It was more expensive that what we expected. The service was a little above average but nothing great. I think everyone in our party would have preferred to save the money and hit a local hamburger n shake joint. This was the first time using Unilocal to find a restaurant I thought Unilocalers got it wrong.

Unsurprisingly, Page, AZ is not overflowing with good places to eat. My friends and I were staying at Lake Powell and Unilocaled a place for dinner to eat in Page. Bonkers was the first option that popped up with 4 stars. Bonkers is a pretty straightforward, no frills kind of restaurant. My napkin was frayed and nearly falling apart but our server was friendly and helpful. The food was surprisingly delicious! We ordered a bottle of malbec($ 20 special) and two of my friends got the $ 10 special — one was blackened chicken penne pasta and the other was beef tip spaghetti. I got the trout with a side of vegetables and salad — it was very light, tender and delicious! My other friend got the seared ahi tuna. Portions are generous and they have a lot of options for sides! Service is friendly and functional. Kinda charming, they have a display cart for their dessert options!

Great dinner specials before 6PM! We came for dinner after a long drive to the Lake Powell Resort. They had two dinner specials(spaghetti and baked chicken) for $ 10 dollars, normally $ 18. I ordered the seared ahi tuna was surprised at how tender the tuna was, and they served with a good wasabi sauce. They also had $ 20 dollar dinner special on a bottle of delicious Melbec wine. We also tried their jalapeño popper appetizer which I found to be too salty. The best part of dinner was the mouth watering apple pie crumble with vanilla ice cream. It was freshly made and was simply scrumptious! A good find in Page, AZ!

Stimme dem Schweizer Kollegen zu. Nichts besonderes.

We came here during a weekend when we visited the Antelope Canyons. Without a reservation we were seated immediately when we came in for dinner at 7pm. Here is what we ordered: Complimentary bread and butter — 5 stars Filet Mignon entrée with soup, mashed potatoes and mushrooms — 4 stars House dessert(chocolate cake with frosting) — 3 stars Service is very attentive and good. Overall it was a good dining experience. I would give 4 stars!
