WOW! The horseback riding was awesome !! Definitively an adventure you have to experience when you’re visiting Page. We chose the 3 hours tour, and we definitively don’t regret it. Our tour guide JR Timpson welcomed us friendly and his cowboy outfit made the whole atmosphere real. Although our last horseback ride was years ago, we felt really comfortable with the horses. They were well trained and good to control. During the whole tour, JR kept giving us advice so we could improve our horseback riding skills. The scenery was stunning and we were feeling really free because there wasn’t a soul in sight. Water was provided and we made two little stops so the horse could rest — and we could stretch our legs and take some pictures. JR told us a little bit about his Cowboy life and he even showed us some moves. All in all, it was a blast and we highly recommend the Copper Cloud Ranch!

We had a wonderful ride with Dell and would highly recommend to anyone. The scenery was beautiful and the horses were gentle. There was a little bit of confusion with the scheduling but it ended up working out perfectly.

My cousin and I had a wonderful day riding with Candice today. She was flexible and graciously adjusted our start time last minute to accommodate our travel schedule. There were amazing views and picture perfect weather which made the two hour sunset ride ideal. My horse’s name was Brandy and she was beautiful, gentle, and well mannered — perfect for a newbie.
We came back to the cars as it was getting dark when I realized that I lost my cell phone along the trail with all the photos I had just taken. Without hesitation or me asking, Candice and another guide climbed onto the horses and raced back up the trail. It was amazing to watch them galloping into the dark, just like in the movies. Within a short amount of time, they heard my phone ringing and found it in the dark. Wow!

Wow. Wow wow wow. What an a amazing day. I had never been horseback riding before and Dell was a great teacher. Definitely one of the top things on my list that I have done in my life. The price is absolutely reasonable!
I recommend doing some training before you go on any trails. Just trust yourself and the horse and it will be a great ride. Thanks, Dell!!!

My wife and I spent the holidays in Page and had an amazing time. Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon Dam, and best of all trail riding with Copper Cloud Ranch. Our guide, Dell, took us out on a three hour ride– not another tourist in sight. It was just the three of us, our horses, and Dell’s dog, who darted all around chasing rabbits. The views were unbelievable. The different geological formations were breathless. Dell was super kind and patient over the phone as we set up the appointment. He was even more accommodating once we met him in person and he gave us trail riding tips.

Beautiful open country, eager spirited horse, expert and patient guide (Dell).
Cantered across shrub dotted desert, around sandstone formations, to hill tops with lovely views of Lake Powell in the distance.
