I’ll admit I didn’t have that high of hopes for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fry bread and Navajo tacos(which are delicious but not really considered high quality fare). The Rainbow Room was a pleasant surprise. I had the salmon, tomato soup and my husband had the Caesar salad and strip steak. We shared an order of the bacon blue cheese truffle oil chips. All of it was amazing! We fought over the chips they were so delicious and my husband couldn’t keep his fork out of my salmon plate after finishing his meal. The resort itself is lackluster outside of the spectacular view, but the Rainbow Room is truly a perfect place to enjoy a good meal.

Very nice setting overlooking the lake. Otherwise, don’t waste your time. Being from Texas I wasn’t well versed on the time zones and lack of daylight savings in this particular area so we ended up waiting 2 hours for our table. We then waited another hour for our food. The food was average at best. Since we sat down at a table at 8:30 pm their time(still not sure what time they are on at this exact location) all we saw was our reflections in the glass overlooking the lake. Big letdown.

My daughter and I dined here for breakfast on April 13th. It was about $ 15 for a delightful buffet but was worth more like $ 25 due to the view, professional, yet friendly wait staff and beautiful setting. Truly a breathtaking setting. Oh and the resort gift shop was a great find, too. Would love to go back again.

The view on the lake is gorgeous indeed. But that’s really the only positive aspect of this restaurant. The staff is rude and inefficient(the only moment when our waitress was fast and efficient was when she brought us the check…) The food is average. Not bad, but definitely not worth the price.

If you think Red Lobster is good, then you’ll think this is great. This is the nicest restaurant in Page and we ate here due to the convenience of it being at the resort(we were staying here). Yes, the view is absolutely gorgeous. The service was good. The food? Not so much. It’s marginal at best. Breakfast tasted like it was all frozen food(the potatoes, breakfast sausages, etc.). And it’s all definitely overpriced because of where you are(in a resort next to the lake). We had dinner here and not only did they serve me wine in a dirty glass, but screwed up my dinner order completely. At the end of the day, when you’re vacationing in Page(or at this resort), know you’re there for the views, not the food. ***You apparently HAVE to make a dinner reservation. Don’t be fooled by the empty tables, they will turn you away. Beats me as to why!

Went to Rainbow Room restaurant for dinner, 2 nights in a row and had a wonderful experience on both occasions. Food was great, awesome view of Lake Powell marina, the staff is friendly & we had Glade as our server, the best server we’ve ever had! We like to dine out & Glade has set the bar very high as far as dining experience is concerned. We wish every waiter is like him: very cordial, funny and very attentive to his customer’s needs. We highly recommend this place! 2 thumbs up to this restaurant & it’s great staff, especially to Glade!

Page surprised us very much! The rainbow room is a must. We were staying at the Lake Powell resort so the restaurant was a short walk from our room. We both said to ourselves we’ve never stayed at a resort and the food been that great so we went in not expecting much. But, wow, we were surprised! We ordered the short rib sandwich and New York strip steak. The short rib was divine, the flavors were there and clear that it was made that day. Glade(our server) let us know it was started at 11 am and cooked all day. The chef clearly put the time and heart into the food. Fries were fresh and tasty as well. My NY strip was cooked well and had a minor sweet flavor which I loved. I had never tasted AZ beef so this was new for me. The Brussels were so good, the red chilies and onions made a wonderful combo with the Brussels and potatoes. I was not hungry and I cleaned my plate in minutes! Cocktails…prickly pear margarita was outstanding! It is extra sweet for a margarita but, if you’ve had a prickly pear you expect this. We also have the martini and the blueberry crush which were wonderful. Candy knows what she is doing! Glade was a wonderful server and helpful with the menu. He was very friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s refreshing to find service and a chef who care about quality. We definitely plan to return to Page, Lake Powell Resort and the Rainbow Room!

This place has some amazing food. A bit on the expensive side but it’s incredibly worth it after the service and atmosphere you get. I’ve been here a few times and each time is better than the last! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Bad food, bad service and bad freezing cold. My Wife and I struck out tonight. We’ve tried this place over the years and it’s either OK or Bad. Tonight it was bad for the afore mentioned reasons. We will never go back!

Had a tour dinner here as well as a breakfast. Both were free so take it as you will. The breakfast, now knowing the price is a bit expensive but it isn’t bad at all. Good omelets and home-fries. In terms of dinner, it started with a pretty generic salad. Afterwards, you had a choice between chicken, steak, or a veggie dish. The food reminded me of most wedding food but slightly better. Dessert was a tuxedo cake with some overly sweetened raspberry sauce. The food was alright, wish I got to try the good sounding short rib however.

Atmosphere 1976 steak house, smells like one too. Get rid of the carpeting and use a hard floor. Spilt drinks cause mold and smells over time. Service 15 minutes before drinks order taken. Generally slow. Interesting sparkling water. S. Pellegrino, served in a hot«just out of the dishwasher» glass. Food Good. Presented as fine dining, but far from it. OK it’s not bad tasting. The problem here is politics. A single organization running all the hospitality services in national parkland. No competition means no need to improve or impress.

Great food, great service, great view! The prices are high but worth it when you’re looking to treat yourself. Portions were perfectly sized and the options were plentiful. Highly recommend the Nutella cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake for dessert– they’re small but rich, perfect for sharing!

Amazing view Great service Food was great– had the $ 15 breakfast buffet twice in a week. Common breakfast items– enjoyed the fresh fruit, tasty gravy, crispy home fries & the omelette bar(the cook went out of his way to bring me the omelette to my table, was appreciated) The buffet was a little pricey but considering a $ 3 coffee or soft drink, you would might as well have the buffet since it already includes one of those drink items(not to mention. Juice, milk, tea, etc…)

I’ve had to revise my review cuz I ate here twice over the span of two days for their breakfast buffet. Medicore at best for breakfast buffet. Day 1 — the buffet lacked taste and substance. We came at 8am. They opened at 6am. Coffee was questionable. When I asked what kind they served. Answer was Starbucks. I drink lots of Starbucks. This blend was questionable. The waffle was dense and lacked flavor. No brown sugar for the oatmeal. The fresh fruit was dense and lacked essence. Bacon was skimpy. The breakfast danish tasted like lard, etc. The sausage was meaty and tasty. Day 2 — they’ve got an omelette station. You know it’s going to be fresh cuz they make it in front of you. I got mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and diced tomatoes. Cooked perfectly. This time the sausage was not to my liking. The key is to come early. We came in at 6:15am. The bacon was meaty. The bread was fresh. Even the coffee tasted better. Great views of Lake Powell marina.

We were staying at the hotel so stopped by for dinner. You need to make reservations; if you’re last minute like us, likely you’ll get a time when it’s too dark for the lovely view. Food was expensive but excellent — my pork tenderloin was flavorful, the beet salad was good, and my companions enjoyed their meals too. Lots of butter and cream help. Vegetarians /pescatarians beware — the risotto has chicken stock in it. Cocktails sadly were disappointing — full of soda water like from the 70s. Our server didn’t know what a Salzerac was, and didn’t seem that knowledgeable about the menu other than the basics. The breakfast buffet was $ 15/person so didn’t go in the morning.

Came here for dinner on our last night here in Page, AZ. We wanted to make it a special meal tonight and it did not disappoint. The place is located in the marina at the Lake Powell resort. We showed up early at 5pm and was able to score a table right by the window. The place is nicely decorated and has a great view of Lake Powell where you can see boaters out on the lake as well as the majestic mountains in the background. They had a nice menu selection and we started with the risotto arancini which was delicious. I had to hold back from licking the plate. Each meal comes with either the soup of the day or a house salad with prickly pear dressing or a caesar salad. My wife got the soup and I chose the house salad. The prickly pear dressing was quite delicious and very sweet. I really wasn’t sure what to expect but it sure was good. My wife chose the kalbi short ribs and I chose the skirt steak. My steak was good and cooked well but seemed a little dry. Wish there was a sauce that came with it. The potatoes and the brussel sprouts were tasty sides. The kalbi short ribs were fatty and we did have to pick out a lot of fat. Not sure if this is normal but the sauce was good and the meat that was there was good as well. Her sides were a side of rice and green beans. For dessert we shared the bread pudding that sure did hit the spot. All in all it was a great meal and a nice way to end our trip. We will be sure to come back here for another visit in the future.

The view alone is worth 5 stars! We started with the Spinach Queso served with nicely toasted pita and slices of french bread. It was excellent. I had the house salad to start. It was presented with fresh parmigiano and a great vinegrette. I had the salmon, which was a very large portion. It was a bit overcooked and the vegetables were a bit salty. The hubbys burger was huge and really delicious. Service across the board was excellent. Our food server was great. Will definitely return.

We originally selected the Rainbow Room due to the fact that they offered some pasta specials for runners in town for the Lake Powell Half Marathon. We stopped by the desk around 6pm and made a reservation for 7:30 that night. It’s a good thing as they had no tables available when we came back for our ressie. Seems that there are a TON of tour groups that start/pass through/finish at this resort so that along with the race crowd proved to be a pretty busy night for the restaurant. Our server was extremely friendly, pointed out the pasta specials to us and didn’t get upset when we chose water as the drink of choice haha. The menu looked so good that we actually skipped the offered specials and went with a chicken/veggie/garlic alfredo/linguinie pasta(me) and a very tasty chicken dish(her). Both were really tasty and better than we anticipated. We did have some salads as starters, a house and a cesar(with chipotle cesar dressing) which were smallish but did the trick. For desert we decided to split the indoor s’mores…which was billed as a chocolate mousse with graham cracker crumble, and some dollops of marshmallow on the side. The mousse was heavier than expected, but still pretty tasty in its own right. We were originally going to return here on Saturday night, but had too much fun with drinks and appetizers from Driftwood Lounge and ended up by the firepits all night instead haha. We will be back next year and I won’t hesitate to book a meal or two at the Rainbow Room. Definitely Recommended if you are staying at the resort.

Great views but breakfast is overpriced and not that great. The buffet would be the best value, which we had. It goes until 10 and I spent most of my time waiting in the omelet line for my omelet(which was bland) before I could get to the buffet. Once in this line there was very little left and no bacon at all. Potatoes were hard and over cooked. I asked if they could bring more bacon out and the answer was no. Wouldn’t waste my money there again.

I think it’s safe to say that this is one of the nicest restaurants in Page. The view is amazing and the whole ambiance is «classy,» I dug it. As usual, I was on a diet so I had a salad with fruit in it and added a chicken breast. They were very accommodating and it was delicious.
