Very good reasonable priced family restaurant. Service is a little slow but the food is fantastic.

SALTY! If you love salt this is your place. I don’t consider myself sensitive to salt. I use it often. But my mouth was burning after we left. First was the fried pickles which were HOT, fresh and we at first liked them until the SALT hit us. Pickles already have A LOT of sodium. No need to add even more. I did ask the waitress if they battered their own pickles. And notified her of how overly salty they were. She offered no solution for us– but said would let kitchen know. They were also not drained properly & the ones in bottom of basket were literally dripping oil!
Next come our meals. My daughter could only get ½ way through her philly cheese steak & said its just way to salty and did not finish. The raw fries were good.
My hamburger steak started out ok & I don’t know if it was the onions on top or the actual meat but I couldn’t eat more than a few bites the salt was overwhelming me at this point. I did eat my raw fries (no salt added there!) with ranch. I tried the coleslaw. One bite was more than enough– tasted like just mayo & A LOT of black pepper. I did not eat anymore. It’s hard to find a good flavored coleslaw. This isn’t it either. The service was great until the end when they got busy & we were forgotten. But the girl was doing her best by herself.
I really want to like this place. Other than the overwhelming SALTINESS things were great.
I may try them again. But for now I need to re-​hydrate. It’s been several hours since lunch & im terribly thirsty, mouth still burns & skin feels dried out.

This locally owned and operated diner serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can recommend the mushroom Swiss burger, sweet potato fries, fried mushrooms and the lunch buffet. The burger used good quality meat cooked well done (it is not a thick patty). The fries were not greasy, were plentiful and some of the best I’ve had.
The buffet included the salad bar; since it is the day after thanksgiving turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken wings, etc. was featured.
Staff was attentive and kind.

I enjoyed a yummy blackened chicken salad and fries during a busy lunch at Rylan’s just last week. The service was attentive, and the food was delivered promptly. Great little place!

Great place to get a good bite. Food is cooked fresh to order so be prepared to wait but it’s worth it. Nice menu selection. There is something for everyone. They are starting a lunch buffet soon so I’m looking forward to checking that out. Stop in and support this great group of locals that are dedicated to filling your belly for a reasonable price.
