I was hungry, in a hurry, and passing thru Pahrump en route to Death Valley. So I stopped here.
No-​frills chain taco shop — zero ambiance, friendly service, acceptable fare. I had a carne asdada burrito and it was fine — no food poisoning, but no real flavor, either.
Perfectly serviceable, but nothing stands out.

Very low key. Order at the counter, food is brought to you. Atmosphere is lacking, but it’s more about the food than chili peppers on the wall. From what I can tell, authentic Mexican food (having not been to Mexico). Very quick, and service is pleasant. They have a salsa bar that you can choose from several types of salsa/​hot sauce, including fresh limes and a pickled carrot/​onion/​jalapeño medley (must be that authentic Mexican thing!).

My husband and I come here all the time to eat. I love it because it’s never very busy, our food comes fast, and the guys that run the place are super friendly and funny. The food is amazing. It’s the best mexican restaurant we have in Pahrump! You have to try it!

Just read a review that said they didn’t like the buffet? This place does not have a buffet!!! Another reviewer said they didn’t tell him drinks are self serve, they hand you a glass when you order. I have been here many times and the food is always good.

My wife and I went there for the buffet.
The food was terrible! There wasn’t a single item that tasted good. We ended up leaving hungry and looking for a place where we could get something edible to eat.
Maybe it’s authentic Mexican food that we aren’t used to, but to us, pardon me, it tasted like dirt.
I don’t see how this place stays in business, but apparently the local Mexicans like it.

We have tried to eat here several times recently due to great past food experiences, and the last 3 times the food was tasteless and inedible. My husband loves carne asada fries, and his fries were soaked in oil (like they hadnt drained them at all before preparing the plate), the food was cold, the beans were tasteless, and the meat was chewy. Dine here at your own risk. Its sad, this place used to be delish, now not so much.

I did not care for this restaurant. On the plus side, the food (fish taco and quesadilla) was attractively presented and tasty. On the minus side, the staff didn’t seem to care that I was there. They acted like I was a jerk. It turns out the drinks are self-​serve but no one told me ’til after my food arrived. My taco arrived on a plate with a big chip broken out of it. When I left a phone-​in-​and-​take-​out customer at the counter was complaining about a messed-​up order, but the staff mostly smirked at her. All the other Mexican places in town are really friendly – avoid this place.
