Yoga in Paradise, Maui. How does it get any better than this? As someone who knew absolutely nothing about Yoga. Michelle, Amber and Sara made me feel completely comfortable taking classes for the very first time. To be honest, I was a little nervous as I didn’t know what to expect and whether or not I was getting a little ahead of myself, and that the classes may be too advanced for me. Not at all… Michelle is so BOSS — in every sense of the word. She’s firm, yet patient and understanding. A perfectionist at heart, and will help you understand the deeper meaning of every stretch and breath you take. If your hands are even slightly misplaced, you better watch out! I really think she’s a Ninja by night. Amber… is such a beautiful soul. Just listening to her explain her every move while she’s got you twisting in ways you never thought possible would put you in a trance you never saw coming. Then next thing you know you’re on your head. They took their time explaining and breaking down each and every pose and its meaning, down to specific breathing techniques so I can better understand and apply them correctly. I never felt pressured to keep up or embarrassed if I wasn’t able to follow. They made me feel very relaxed, learning at my own pace and would come over to help me out when I was struggling with a pose. Just after a few days learning the basic fundamentals of Yoga, I was able to regain full range flexibility in my left ankle from a volleyball injury years ago. I also never imagined being able to do a head stand and the girls pushed me beyond my limits to the point of overcoming my fears of falling. I am forever grateful for that. Yoga is much more than what I could ever have imagined. Everything was just right with the studio. It’s warm and inviting, and I don’t know where they get their playlist, but at times the music had me in my own zone. There’s also blocks and cushions provided if you should need them. The place is very clean and organized. As a business owner/investor myself, I was very impressed with the way they handled their biz. So much love to you, Mesh Yoga! As I head back to the freezing east coast, I wonder what my next yoga classes would be like. One thing’s for sure, I’ll be ready. I’ve been trained by the best. #KEEPMESHING

I have practiced at the majority of studios on Maui and Oahu and have been a dedicated student of yoga for close to 20 years. I am pleasantly surprised at the sequencing and style of class Michelle Lou Lan instructs. Its unique. Dynamic. She will have you look at entering the asanas in a clear way that is broken down into easy to follow levels. She believes in what she does and it shows. The studio is warm, clean, and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit, enjoy!

Had a wonderful experience all the way around at Mesh! The space is inviting and peaceful. The woman at the front desk was very warm and accommodating. Amber Lee’s focus on the breathe and form, along with her beautiful words and person guided me into a deep moving meditation. I would recommend her class to all levels. Loved it!

Your words bring inner peace to the mind and solace to the soul. I practice meditation and specialize in Tibetan singing bowls. I hope you open a branch in San Francisco too and share your expertise. Keep sharing the golden words and only chant I can do for you is «O mani padma hum» a Buddhist chant in short«wisdom, compassion, body/speech /mind /activity, equanimity, bliss.
