This is one of those places with the potential to be a Texas classic. An old machine shed/gas station converted to bar use, it features a pot-bellied stove, metal roof, reclaimed wood walls, local bric a brac decorations, a small stage and a husband & wife ownership team that’s hospitable, knowledgeable and committed to happy customers. If you want to nurse a cold beer with the locals, listen to a little live music and get a hot snack, this is the place for you.

Was directed to this dive bar in a Sunday Funday backroading trip. The outside décor had me excited from the start. The woman who has owned this old service station decided to make a bar about a year and a half ago, and I’m sure glad she did! Enjoyed sitting outside enjoying bottled beer listening to the soothing sound of claw foot bathtub water feature. Only bottle beer and wine available. Pool tables and juke box inside.
