Scores Fun Center

So I normally love this place up until we had our sons birthday party there last weekend… I first called to confirm our party reservation and they didn’t have us down for the right time or package we wanted. So they had booked up all that time slot… they DID however accommodate is still which I am grateful for. The party there should last 2 – 3 hours according to one of the managers. I live 20 minutes away and was home by 6:00. Ours started at 3:00. Party day we show up and get going on bowling first which lasted about a hour then we went to laser tag which last a little over a hour. During this time our party lady started bribing the kids with free bowling coupons not to play laser tag again (found this out after the party) as we are eating. She keep coming up to me telling me she needed the tables in 15 mins and we needed to finish up. Mind you we hadn’t even done cake or opened presents yet. So after I nearly had a breakdown from being pushed out. I called he managed and explained all this and how upset I was that the kids were being bribed with tickets not play laser tag again, something that was paid for already. He explained he would talk to the General Manager on Sunday and would get back to me. Never called. I called Monday and spoke to someone else that was suppose to get back to me and make things right. Never heard anything. So I will never return to this place again and take the extra time to drive further to mentor for our family days. Horrible service we had and horrible manager follow up! Shame on you for bribing children and not giving me everything I paid for!

I will never return to this establishment EVER!!! My son wanted to bowl and play laser tag for his small birthday get together with his 3 friends. I called three days prior to confirm times for each activity. I was told (It was a Saturday night) that we could not play laser tag until 8:30. That was acceptable. We decided to bowl first. 8:30 came and I approached the counter to pay for the boys to play laser tag. A short, bald, rude man said «No laser tag tonight… Some guy just gave me $ 200.00 for the rest of the night!» HE RUINED MY SON’S BIRTHDAY!!! Enjoy the instant gratification you probably put in your pocket jerk. I would never return and word of mouth is a powerful tool!

Great place to go with friends. If you’re not a good bowler, they have plenty of other cool things like laser tag and your usual games.
They also have a bar so in case you need to unwind, an drown your sorrows away cause you’re bad at bowling, there ya go (:
One thing that I was not a big fan of was their bowling ball selection which was kind of lame.

Great Place for family fun of all ages

Our visit took place on 4−13−14. I warn you, do NOT go to this place on a Sunday evening! I called them the night before to inquire about the Sunday special. After that I asked what time they were open until. I was told they usually stay open until midnight, but if they are slow they will close at 10:00pm. Our group of 6 people arrived at 7:30pm. They told us the special was over and we could only bowl for one hour. The girl on the phone did not inform me that the special only ran until a certain time. The customer service was horrible. They acted like they did not even want our business. They closed down the snack stand as soon as we arrived. They also would not let us play laser tag. We will never visit this establishment again! On top of bad service, the place was filthy!!!

I really enjoy scores. Especially on their dollar bowling night! It’s also $ 1 laser tag on dollar bowling night, so that’s awesome. I always have a good time going there with a few friends and never spend too much money.

I have to admit, as much as I try to avoid Painesville, I can’t deny that Scores Fun Center is… well, fun! And quite worth the trip too!
One thing that I cannot stress enough: A bar in combination with activities for kids is pretty much a perfect situation. I mean, think about it. Parents fun = kids fun! :-D
This place has bowling, AYCP laser tag and arcade games out the butt. It ridiculously easy to spend a lot of time there having a blast. Concession stand munchies make the whole operation run in perfect harmony.
And can we take a minute to talk about how awesome their laser tag set up was? I mean, I know I’m a bit of a novice with the whole game… but are all places like this? They are hardcore about this thing, Vests, guns, announcer, techno music (LOL). I was running around like a scared bunny rabbit trying not to get shot. Did I mention it was «all you can play» laser tag? Three of us for $ 25!
So yeah, birthday parties, free weekends with the kids, etc. If you ever need to keep the chillins busy for a hot minute, this is the place to go!
