Ciceovan DDS

Dr. Ciceovan has been my primary dentist for a number of years. I’ve tried a number of other dentists until I ended up in her care (I was referred to her by a friend), and can definitely say that I never felt I needed to look anywhere else. Dr. Ciceovan is a true professional with a perfectionist attitude, yet gentle and caring, and of impeccable moral character. She and her staff have always answered my questions and I felt I was in very capable hands while there.
Unfortunately, my work has taken me outside of the state and I’m now struggling to find a dentist that makes me feel as comfortable and that gives me the same peace-​of-​mind as Dr. Ciceovan did. I highly recommend her and her staff! You won’t be disappointed going there.

Dr. Aurora Ciceovan is very personable. When I went to her to get my teeth cleaned, she swung by after the dental hygienist finished and she performed an abbreviated head and neck exam as well as looking into my mouth. (Does she actually catch anything with the head and neck exam? I don’t actually know the utility of it but it’s a good gesture.) She was very open to any questions I had about my teeth.
I wish I could say the same about the technicians. As a new patient, I had the get the full head panoramic x-​ray. I tried to opt out of the panorama as I have a medical condition that makes me more susceptible to cancers, but they told me that they wouldn’t give me a teeth cleaning without one. I thought that this was very odd since I’m a young adult with no medical issues. And of course, there was nothing from the exam. Additionally, the technician almost forgot to drape me in the lead vest. She also dropped some bite-​wing x-​ray equipment onto the ground and didn’t replace them until Dr. Ciceovan came by and told her off, and had another tech complete the job. Speaking of radiographs… The forms they have you sign off on at the beginning state that they will charge you for copies of the x-​rays and scans that they do. I take umbridge at this because it’s MY insurance and MY money that pay for the scans… and they have the audacity to charge me extra for something I already paid for.
Dr. Ciceovan is a great dentist I am sure, but my experience with the techs and the radiograph charges leave a bad taste in my mouth.
