I happened upon this gem because I was doing business in the area. This is a very large store with a lot of everything. The day I was there, I saw a gorgeous high end glass kitchen rattan table with chairs for $ 75. It was gorgeous and snapped up quickly. The store is bright, clean, organized and has more lamps than any GW I have ever been to. Definitely worth another visit.

This goodwill is different from the others in the area, because:
1. Cleaner and much more organized
2. However it is much smaller, selection wise and inventory
3. No need to ask the store clerk to get you a fitting room, you can go in if there is one vacant
4. Right beside a huge drive through panda express and sonic, so you can actually have reasonable dining options when you get hungry
Similar to other goodwills, you will find:
1. Sketchy workers… the guy checking mr out dropped my sweater and was struggling to find the price tag

Whistler, Canada
This store seemed like it has improved and is probably almost as good as the one in Arlington Heights, meaning there isn’t that much, but you may find something here. It’s probably worth a look.
I found a Banana Republic sweater coat (100 percent Merino wool) for $ 9.99. It was an amazing deal! It’s not like there there were tons of deals like that around though, but that’s a typical thrift store. They probably priced it without checking the fabric. The art selection was also somewhat improved, although there was nothing I needed today.
Overall, I think this store is on the upswing. It looked like it had a lot more merchandise than when it first opened. Like most Goodwill Stores, there is limited furniture and housewares. Most finds will be in clothing or decorative items.

Mount Prospect, IL
Very organized store and it has a big inventory compared to the other Goodwills, not much of electronics and furnitures but the clothing section is huge. If you are regular they offer reward cards so you can earn points and save some $$$. The staff is always nice and polite.
