Although recently changing their hours from 9am-​? Monday through Saturday too BY APPOINTMENT ONLY it has not changed the level of quality service and personal attention given to you and your electronic device. Martin is extremely knowledgable about a variety of different electronics & GENIUS when it comes to computers & cell phone repairs. The owner (Martin) is a great guy. He fixed my problem for a very reasonable $ 50. He ran around to various stores looking for the part I needed, even though he wasn’t going to make much money on my repair. There was never any up sell and never any doubt I had gone to the right place. The customer service there is great, and you will know you are in good hands when you meet Martin.

Green Computer managed to save what others said wasn’t savable, so I plan on coming here for all my future computer problems and would recommend others do the same.
My mom is bad with computers, like really bad, and this wasn’t the first time her hard drive had crashed. But Best Buy said all the data was lost, so we went to Unilocal to find a place to get a second opinion. Green Computer’s five star rating doesn’t lie. This place is magical. They recovered everything that was on the computer — from photos to documents to music. Apparently their program is the same one that the FBI uses to recover data. Whoa. The owner was super fast in getting back to me on the repairs, and everything was back and working in just four days. Price-​wise, things were reasonable. The owner was willing to negotiate and lower the price after the work turned out to be much more extensive than originally planned.
The one thing this Unilocal page doesn’t tell you: they’re open by appointment only. So don’t make the mistake I did and drive to their address with your computer! You’ll only find a locked, closed shop. Call beforehand, and you’ll have an afternoon appointment the following day.

I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC which is like 4 years old. After a big drop i lost hope if anyone could ever repair it as the screen was shattered and also the frame was severely damaged. It didn’t start at all and i didn’t even know what else was damaged inside. After opting for a brand new laptop i didn’t like any as HP has stopped making Entertainment PC’s and all the other latest laptops didn’t interest me. After checking a few places to get it repaired i was quoted around $ 600 which was just a bit less than what i had paid when i bought it new.
Luckily i came across Green Computer on Unilocal and after going through the reviews i gave it a try. I met Martin and within minutes he gave me the damage report as well as a quotation for getting it repaired. I paid only $ 250 to get it fixed and it works like new and also a six month warranty on everything that he did. The repair took a while as Martin had to order parts from half of the world to keep the cost low. They are honest and provide a through explanation of what is to be needed and go an extra mile to make sure the customer are satisfied.

I had an outstanding experience with Martin. He was very helpful on the phone while I was trying to get a handle on what was happening with my computer (Hard drive failure & power supply crash). Martin ran through several possible causes and solutions. Based on this call I decided to take my desktop in for a diagnostic check. Martin was quick with his check and he explained my options in simple terms. His repair fee was VERY REASONABLE. Martin is professional, knowledgeable and more than fair. He has my highest recommendation!

I’ve had 2 laptops and one desktop repaired and have been extremely happy with the work and reasonable cost. To me my biggest concern was finding someone who was really excellent and knew what they were doing (vs going to the geek squad which could be some hired kid with little experience) which Martin and his guys have proven they are excellent. Service is fast and my computers are probably running better then they ever did (and I didn’t worry about losing my 80gb music collection). I also appreciate the time they take to answer any questions or make recommendations. It’s nice to know when you have computer issues you can go/​call somewhere and trust what they are telling you. There is no doubt I will continue to service my computers there and recommend to friends.

My computer screen randomly started fizzing out/​flickering on and off before completely ceasing to work at all. I went to the Apple store and, of course, it started working, so they told me they could not accurately tell me what was wrong with the computer, but it was either a hard drive or screen issue, both would cost $ 450 each. Basically, every solution offered at the Apple store was very expensive, so I figured I would look elsewhere. My boyfriend’s father had gotten some work done here and raved about it, so I figured I would check it out. Martin was very nice and explained that he would run some diagnostic tests before doing any sort of work to my computer. Called me back and told me that it was definitely the screen and it would cost approx. $ 150 for a new one. I also asked him to update my software/​OS because my computer is considered «vintage» by the Apple company. I ended up spending $ 300 in total for a new screen and software update. The only reason I gave it a four star review as opposed to five was because communication was difficult at times and I felt like it had been a long time from when I had approved the work until I heard back from Martin again. Martin was apologetic when I picked it up, though, and gave me some extra RAM for my computer for my troubles. The computer works like new and I am so incredibly happy with it. I saved money by not going to the Apple store and I am very glad I did not decide to just scrap the computer and buy a whole new one. I also learned a little about how computer screens work. Martin is super professional, very patient, and very nice. I know very little about the inner-​workings of computers, but he took the time to explain everything to me so I understood why he was doing what he did. Also, the one-​year warranty is awesome! I will refer my friends and family for any work needed.

I have to express my gratitude to him for not only fixing my computer at a very affordable cost but his patience which matters alot to me as a consumer since I was given the run around at other places. I don’t have much knowledge in the computer world but I do know I need my computer and if I ever have another problem I will only go to him. He is extremely intelligent, professional and I had the chance to see him deal with other customers while I was waiting, his attention to detail and care for great customer service and follow thru is what will have me as a very loyal client. This place is down the street from me, and I feel extremely fortunate to have a neighborhood computer doctor. Marty, the owner, has hooked me, and friends/​family, up with great used/​recycled hardware and software to keep my system running up to par, and at great prices!
Check this place out before going out and dropping a ton of $$ on a new computer… he has a great selection of near new refurbished laptops and desktops — or he most likely will be able to fix any computer dilemmas you have. This place should be a national chain to keep people all over from wasting money on new gear when they really don’t have to.
