This place is great! Just moved back up to the ‘Burbs, and I needed to find a brew shop. I tried two others, and they were grossly over priced. This place, by comparison, is perfect! Owner is full of friendly advice — they have prepacked kits that they make in house, I just debuted the American stout at an office holiday party, and it was reported to be «the best homebrew» my colleagues had ever had. Hah! That’s great :)

Love this place! The owner is super nice and friendly and has helped me craft some great beers. Their prices are great and you can mill the grain right there! They have classes that make brewing super easy too.

Awesome help. Had issues with my regulator and she helped me out for like 20 minutes. Even drilled out a new washer for me. I am a customer for life here!!!

Got my first big girl brew kit here. They offer FREE beginner brewing classes which are extremely helpful. I think their prices are good. I only compared stuff to purchasing off Amazon and it was pretty similar. Its worth going and supporting the local small business. The owner is very knowledgeable and I am completely jealous of her and her husband’s back story. They have awesome jobs!

This place is awesome! It is very clean and organized, they have a great selection of grains/hops, and the owners are EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I was in there for probably a half hour and asked dozens of questions… they were glad to answer everything! From what I saw, the prices are fantastic. Great selection of equipment, great selection of ingredients, and great people running this place. I hope it is here forever and becomes a staple of this town.

I have been home brewing for a few years now. My old brew supply store closed recently, so I was very excited to find out about this one. I went in today witha rough idea of the beer I wanted to brew(Russian imperial stout). I walked in and was greeted by the employees immediately. They gave me some time to look around and then offered some suggestions as to what might be good. I was able to get almost everything I needed. I will have to go back again to retrieve the desired wyeast strain. The place was clean and well organized. It was also nice to be able to mill my own grain. This will be my permanent brew supply store.

Very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. They’ve got everything you need to brew your own beer in the comfort of your own home… or garage… equipment and ingredients. They have the yeast. They have the grains. They got hops, yo! You want ‘em extracts? They got ‘em, too. Even if you are a kit brewer they have what you need… IPA, YOUPA, WEPA, HEPA, SHEPA… all the PA’s. Give them some love because they are the closest shop to my house.

This shop just opened in August. Very helpful and knowledgeable people there. They are well stocked with grains that you can measure out. The owner said that people could email their grain bills and they would measure them out for pickup the next day. Tucked in the inside corner of a strip mall in Palatine. There are no homebrew shops within a 30 minute drive of this place, so I hope they make it. Finding time to make road-trips to one of the other brew shops is hard sometimes. I’d rather spend my time brewing!
