Sleep Inn & Suites

Initially my reservation phone call started out rocky. Johnny was working the desk that night when I called. I needed to reserve a room with 2 double beds (traveling with my boyfriend and son) for 5 nights. I was told they only had a king size bed available… Okay… No biggie, it’s do able. After making the reservation and getting a quote I asked if there was a military discount. Johnny explained to me there are no discounts available on a holiday weekend and since there was a festival in town he didn’t need to discount rooms because he would be filled to capacity. I thought that was a bit rude but whatever. I just wanted to save a few dollars on an already expensive trip.
When I arrived, I got a lovely attendant named Marisol. I asked her to check the system to see if anyone had canceled so that we could have the double queen sized beds. She informed me several were available and changed my reservation to one of them. I gave my military ID and credit card at which time she informed me that they forgot to add my military rate. SWEET! She fixed my reservation for both the rate and the room I needed was extremely polite and efficient!
The rest of my stay was just as amazing. The staff was great and always greeted my family when we walked through the door. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Palatka! It’s also close to food and stores in case you forget incidentals. 5 stars!

My husband and I spent a night here and loved it. The king bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was huge and everything was very clean. The one problem was the coffee pot was missing. I would stay here again, and plan to soon.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was plentiful and the rooms were clean. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Palatka.
