Very busy stop and a long wait to get diesel gas for our rig. Restrooms are not very clean but not filthy either. Friendly staff.

Located about an hour West of Memphis at Exit 233, this Loves is a smaller footprint. During busy travel periods, it can get busy and conjested. During inclement weather, the floors become a sloppy mess due to the foot traffic. Tour busses usually stop for meals due to the sub shop(was Love’s Subs, now a Subway) and Chester’s Chicken. I usually avoid Subway. Chester’s does a good job. If I’m stopping for a meal, I’ll get the 3 piece tenders and wedges meal. It appeard the interior was remodeled since the last time I was through(January 2015). The fountain sodas were relocated from between the subs and Chester’s to the front wall. A roller deli was added as well. A stand with fresh fruit was added where the fountain was. This visit was relatively quiet, in and out pretty quick. The men’s restroom was very clean. And they took down the ‘Boneless Bananas’ sign *sigh*

Stopped here after a long hard day behind the wheel to get a shower and a meal. Worst mistake ever it took an hour and a half to get a shower and when I did get one it was filthy there was other people’s hair everywhere and it didn’t look like it been thoroughly cleaned in a long time I basically felt like I needed another shower after the one I just took. Never again will this be a loves location I visit !

I stopped here for fuel and drinks. It was like a circus outside at the car pumps, so I headed inside. It was a circus indoors, as well. I don’t know why Love’s can’t keep the restrooms clean. I suspect if they were open two hours a day, the rest rooms would be dirty when they opened. The men’s rest room wasn’t filthy but it was pretty far from clean. I’ve seen worse. I saw the 2 for $ 2.00 deal on Mountain Dew Kickstart and got two, once I found them on the opposite side of the Mountain Dew, away from the energy drinks. The cashier was friendly and helpful. She seemed to be under the gun with all of the Subway customers. When I returned to my car, I noticed that a diesel pump was unoccupied and I got there before some gasoline-monger tried to take it. :-D The pump worked as expected and even printed a receipt for me.

Made a trip to Hilton Head from NW Arkansas the past week. On our way down and back we like to stop at Loves when we do. Usually clean, cheaper gas, food etc… Don’t stop at this one if you can make it further on gas find another one. Here’s a tip Loves. It’s 11:00 on A Saturday, it’s the weekend, first Saturday after schools out for summer. You are the first Loves after you cross the Miss/Ark line. I-40 is the most traveled interstate in the country by truckers. How about being prepared. Love Chester Fried chicken. No chicken ready, no wedges, no strips. Wedges were frying in the single fryer, chicken after that. 10 mins for wedges, and another 15 after that for chicken. Every item on the menu including sides empty. It’s chicken, it’s what you do, it’s lunch time on a Saturday. Okay I’ll have a dog. Zero dogs ready, fountain coke«out of order». Really. Cokes not popular. All of these thing on their own aren’t that big of a deal. But they are just out of everything. Pretty obvious the place has very poor management.
