This place was fantastic! If I could give it 6 stars, or more, I would. Fresh vegetables, a remarkable selection of sushi, tasty salads, a hibachi and it is very, very clean. The best Chinese buffet I’ve been to. I would highly recommend it to you. Reasonably priced as well.

I wanted to have better things to say about this place but sadly I do not. Food quality… Really bad Raw Sushi and sashimi quality… Horrible I literally had to spit one out because the fish was so chewy and tough. Lots of fried items to mask quality and not a whole lot of flavour in anything. If you’re looking for good or even half decent sushi this isn’t your place. One good thing to say though is the service. Super friendly and fast so no complaints there.

Big selection of sushi and good quality… only come here for the sushi bar so I can’t say much about the other things they offer. I’ve tried their soups and they are good… green tea ice cream is on point.

The ambiance is nice but the food has a lot to be desired. Not much of a variety especially during dinner time. The food that was there was over cooked. If you want a good buffet, go to Crazy Buffet on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

Went to this place for a birthday party site unseen and only going off reviews. It was great! Everything was super fresh! Rice was amazing, big selection of sushi rolls and clean! Highly recommend!

I’ve been to better asian buffets as far as quality and quantity but this one is probably the cleanest in the area so I trust it. On my last visit I saw a decent amount of asian patrons which is a very positive sign. There are no violations with the health department as of this writing(which is so incredibly common for buffets). The things you’ll want to come here for is the hibachi and sushi and maybe the peel and eat shrimp. I’m not a fan of mussels or oysters so I can’t give you an opinion on those. You might find those to be very valuable. There really isn’t a whole lot of variety at the hot bar and only a couple of quality items so I don’t count on eating much of that. What you’ll usually find there is rice, noodles, pepper chicken/steak, sweet and sour chicken, mussels and string beans. Sometimes they have salt and pepper shrimp with calamari. Maybe around 8 hot dishes total. Next to that would be what I consider to be the cheap fried stuff: crab rangoon, fried chicken wings, vegetable tempura(honestly some of the worst tempura I’ve ever had), fried shrimp and french fries. They have crab legs at dinner but I find it too salty here so I don’t bother with those. I normally love crab so that’s a little disappointing. The salad bar is ok. I wish they would have sprung for romaine lettuce and perhaps a little olive oil. They already have Italian dressing so it’s not like it’s to stay consistent with the ethnic cuisine. I have not tried the desserts but they look ok. There’s also fresh fruit. In summary: It may seem like the bulk of the writing of this review is negative but it’s really not. I do go back to this place on a regular basis because the better quality options and cleanliness are worth it to me. If you’re mainly interested in hibachi and sushi you’ll be happy. If you want a large variety of hot asian dishes you won’t be.

Compared to other FL Japanese buffets, this one pales. Most of the offerings I tried on a Sunday pm(octopus, some roll selections, grilled chicken, the Asian pear sake) had very little flavor. Most of the rice was so bland it almost tasted lke bleach. Needless to say, it is not impressive unless maybe it’s better on another night. I have no intention of finding out. If you like bland Americanized Japanese buffet, go for it. If you have a more sophisticated palate, stay away and go to a real Japanese restaurant.

So, this is not a Chinese buffet, it’s a Japanese buffet!!! I feel like some of the comments are comparing this place to a Chinese buffet. I give this 4 stars because for a buffet I found everything I tried to be full of flavor. I tried most everything, as I usually do on a buffet — isn’t that the point? The restaurant is decorated nicely and the staff was fairly nice. They had a huge selection of sushi, that was better than the average buffet, but of course not as good as a traditional sushi restaurant. They had some really interesting selections of hot food on the buffet that you don’t ever see on a buffet. If we lived here in West Palm, we would make this a regular place to go.

I was in the mood for sushi, but didn’t want the fuss of a full service restaurant. So I ventured out and found this place. When I first walked in, I was excited they had a lot and I do mean a lot of sushi options for a buffet. They also offer hibachi, and a few hot items such as fried rice, lemon pepper seafood mix, and a bunch of fried food items(gyoza, egg rolls, Rangoon, etc., let me not forget peel and eat shrimp and crab legs. But unfortunately I was disappointed in the sushi offerings. Now I tried a bit of everything and I can honestly say I only really like 2 rolls and the salmon sashimi(I don’t like tuna). I had noodles, veggies, and shrimp from the hibachi grill and it was yummy. But the rest of the food was ok at best. For $ 18.95 I had high expectations for what I got. Customer service was good. Food is rotated pretty quickly. 40⁄60 chance that I would return.

I ate here tonight with my wife, mom, daughter, and sister along with her 3 kids. All of the children were under 2, however after telling the waitress the ages of the kids they asked a second time as if we were lying, and even gave us dirty looks. We felt very unwelcome, not to mention that our plates were never cleared from the table, and the food was not as fresh as it was in the past. I am highly dissatisfied, and even tried to call the manager who could care less saying«well it already happened». I won’t be back and I’ll tell everyone I know.

When it comes to Asian buffets, usually it is a hit or miss when it comes to the sushi section. And 9 times out of 10, it is a miss. But this place actually had pretty good sushi! I do apologize because I can’t really comment on the rest of the food they had because since I was so happy that their sushi was actually really good, I went up for 2nds… and 3rds, at which point I was too full for kitchen food. So just reviewing the sushi section, I give it a thumbs up and a happy food baby. Good job! You have an a super full super satisfied customer!

Buffets are always a trade off of value and quantity vs quality. Even the best quality, perfectly prepared food deteriorates sitting in a steam table or a cold pan. THEPROS Attractive comfortable place with good waitstaff. Lots of sushi choices with very ample fish portions. Note: I am not a sushi snob and it certainly wasn’t the best I ever had, but have had LOTS worse for three times the price. Good selection of colorful and tasty rolls along with seaweed salad and many cold dishes with octopus, mussels, shrimp and clams which are very small and they may be cockles. Choice of four soups. Lots of hot choices; mussels in black bean sauce, tempura vegetables, Japanese meatloaf on a stick(huh?), and many chicken based hot dishes. Hot items are good; dumplings, cream cheese filled fried wontons, fried shrimp and veggie tempura. These things all die quickly, but are replenished often. A hibachi grill area with four proteins and choice of vegetables. Along with limited desserts cookies, cream puffs, and ice cream with toppings. THECONS The main attraction of Sushi I find to be tasty enough although the vinegared rice could be more flavorful. So many other items also lack flavor, particularly the soups and cold marinated salads along with hot versions; octopus, mussels and clams. The seaweed salad always looks good and has a nice crunch to it, but it’s cloyingly sweet. The Hibachi prepared food I got was good, but the chef could use a bit of a personality implant. Just might be after three hours over a hot grill the pleasant personality evaporates, but the encounter didn’t really make me dip in my wallet to fill his tip jar. And lastly; the use of a communal ice cream dipping cabinet just turns me off. I defy anyone to reach into a half empty 3 gallon container of ice cream and and not include their fingers, knuckles and arms in process. That along with the well meaning parents that hold their eight year old in the air to dip it for themselves. They do have a selection of ice cream toppings, but I have to take a pass on some arm hair or worse in my Rocky Road. A soft ice cream maker/dispenser would resolve this problem. Once in awhile AYCE is fun and the food here really is quite good if you’re craving sushi and especially taking into account the lunch price of $ 11.99. All the«CONS» aside I’ll do without the ice cream and will be back a few times per year.

Good was decent, pretty expensive since it doesn’t have that much seafood. Came on a Sunday and its $ 18.99 but it didn’t have raw oysters or raw clams, and cold crawfish. Not really impressed. I have to better and less expensive.

Almost 3 stars but not quite. I guess NYC has ruined me but of all the Sushi Buffets in this area, this is my least favorite. Sushi rice is totally bland. I think that they must buy the fish in the local Publix. ‘Nuff said

Visited on a Saturday so they had some seafood out in addition to more traditional Chinese buffet selections. The buffet was OK but somewhat limited in what you would normally find. The sushi bar is pretty extensive and the hibachi was excellent. Next time I will start there and skip the buffet. Staff was good. They made my kids some chopstick helpers with rubber bands which entertained them throughout dinner. Was a bit pricey in my personal opinion but fair for everything they had. Comparable to other Jupiter /Palm Beach Gardens places in the area.

The food here is decent, but not amazing. It will, however, satisfy a hungry stomach and a sushi craving. Came here with coworkers for lunch last week. Had a nice sampling of their sushi, soup, and Chinese entrees. If you want a nice Asian buffet, I highly recommend you go elsewhere. This is the place to go if you want a large variety of fresh, tasty sushi. They even have sashimi! Will come back if I want to overdose on sushi again, but only during lunch. From what I’ve heard from coworkers, the have the same food for dinner but up the price to $ 18.95, compared to the $ 11.95(?) lunch.

Came here for dinner with the family after a recommendation from a local. The pricing was fair for the buffet and the drinks. The sushi selection we decent though not the best I have seen at buffet style places. The salmon was fresh and yummy, can not say the same for the tuna. The hibachi was very good and chef prepared it very well. The rest of the buffet was your average Asian buffet. Also the green tea ice cream was DELICIOUS! Overall this place is A-okay.

For a sushi buffet, I say not too shabby. The lunch prices are cheap enough to engorge yourself with seafood on a daily basis($ 11.99 on a weekend and $ 8.99 on a weekday). I was impressed by the large variety of sushi. It’s not the best quality, but not bad either. The sashimi is limited to salmon, but I also enjoyed the chirashi seafood salad. They even had what was labeled as white tuna, but who knows what it really was. Sushi-wise, I would stay clear of any of the fried rolls. The hibachi grill serves some pretty good New York steak with chicken and squid being the other options this weekend. It’s one of those things where you can order it without worrying how long the food has been sitting out. Out of all the Chinese food items sitting out, the pepper chicken with celery was really good. I was so full, I missed out on most of the other seafood items near the salad area, but they had mussels, crayfish, and shrimp. The best part of dessert is the self-scoop ice cream. Forget the chocolate fountain and the mini baked goods; this isn’t a Vegas buffet. Pistachio was the big winner for ice cream, but green tea and taro were pretty good too. All in all, Hiroki is pretty satisfying for sushi and food on a budget.
